@@martinfidalgo1 Hi... I Havnt watched this yet... But the title brought to mind a line in the 1986 Van Morrison song FOREIGN WINDOW They were giving you religion BREAKING BREAD AND DRINKING WINE And you laid out on the green hills Just like when you were a child I saw you from a foreign window You were trying to find your way back home You were carrying your defects Sleeping on a pallet on the floor In the palace of the lord
Bono Vox é muito humano, e mais do que isso, tem um lado espiritual dele que ele sabe, na medida do possivel, explorar. Meu aniversario é do mesmo dia dele: 10/maio
Im 65 and first heard them with umma gumma and dark side of the moon, with headphones and psychedilics. I have been a loyal fan ever since and felt their genius ever since, ive read the books seen the shows and even bought a sid Barrett painting that he painted. 50 years ahead of their time i salute you proudly and forever. Just can't decide which songs they will be playing at my funeral. Grandchester meadows is one of them i know. An under rated ditty,
I saw the WAR tour in Colorado at Red Rocks. I was 14 at the time! Still have my tour shirt same one Bono wears on stage! Religious experience singing 40! HOW LONG…HOW LONG…HOW LONG…HOW LONG…TO SING THIS SONG…TILL JESUS COMES AGAIN TO TAKE US HOME!!!

I know I’m overstepping my boundaries, but David just to think that you are an atheist sort of bothers my soul. I pray for you. You still have time to accept our Lord Jesus. I know, who am I to bring my Christianity into this but it’s just how much I love David. I just pray that he realizes he did not crawl out of a swamp and become one of the best guitarists the world has ever known. I don’t mean to offend anybody it’s just how I feel. David while you’re still breathing, just give it some thought always love you.
This was cool to watch..cheers for this. Except for the Beatles..Pink Floyd is my favourite and the greatest band..👍🏻 Syd, David Nick Rick are one of many of musicans that i like and are inspiring. I wish Syd and Rick were still with us.🙏🏻🎹🎸💎∆ Everytime I'm working on my art..(I'm an artist/illustrator.. I listened to Pink Floyd gets me going.
Brian enno thought pride (in the name of love) was to slow and had the tape sped up which balcony then would result in pitch being shifter and a higher key
Last year I was keen on traveling somewhere but I couldn't decide where to. After watching this documentary I decided to spend four days in Venice as I had already been there but it was long ago and I could hardly remember anything. Three first days were great and my only complaint was the amount of tourists...it was SO crowded everywhere, and the last day I decided just to walk through the canals and streets with no specific direction and at a turning point I listen to crystal glass music. I approach the guy who plays them and it was Igor, the guy that appears in the documentary and performed with David on stage at San Marco. Had a little chat and he explained to me that David and the rest of the guys were EXCELLENT people, had dinner with them and music was always present in some way at all times. He told he really apreciated that someone that young like me remembered him about those days as 2006 is a bit far. I decided to go to Venice thanks to the documentary and once there I meet the crystal glass player who appears on the documentary. Life can truly be beautiful sometimes.
Don't talk about Waters the Nazi😂That guy was too much egocentric, and when you see that documentary, you know PINK FLOYD= DAVID GILMOUR AND RICK WRIGHT😂SOUNDS, SOLOS, COMPOSITIONS, VOICES, PRODUCTION....Waters was a dictator, an idiot, who made a trial to try to keep the songs for himself😂Mason, is a basic drummer, not bad, not good, excited by his cars, Ferrari, collection, more than about music😂EVEN, my great grand mother, 98 years old, knows Pink Floyd, because of the fantastic sounds of the keys, and the guitar, not because of that stupid Waters ego, normal drumming of Mason, and certainly not because of Syd Barett, a loser who made 1 album, was unable to finish the first tour because he took too much lsd😂Now, that Rick is dead, there's no Pink Floyd anymore😢Just, Dave! I would pay to see him (i saw the Pulse tour), but i will never pay to see Waters or Mason....
