As this video was made 7 years ago wondering if current tubs like this are (or can be) made to latch/lock at 'in between' positions of extension... For example, might want to only extend 1/4 of way out on one day and 3/4 of the way on another... At some jobs I can not situate my vehicle on perfectly level surfaces and/or have space limitations at side of vehicle.
Hi, just wondering is there any information on how to fix key cylinder on these locks? (Mine keeps on sliding/ falling out of place so I can't lock it anymore)
Appreciate the post. Using these principles I worked out how to stop my Engel slider from rattling with 3 strips of electrical tape on the frame where the triangular dampener slides into. Worked a treat and easy to add more strips when/if the tape compresses. Many thanks!
Hi mate iv just got one of your <50 tilt slides and I’m getting a pretty bad squeak from the locking latch. There isn’t any play in the slide as you have just shown but where the orange locking mechanism rests against the slide to stop it opening I think it’s like metal on metal kinda noise but it’s pretty loud in the back of the wagon. Any suggestions? Thanks
When i cleaned my gas strut on the rear door of my van is started to make bad noises like it was sticking and jumping while opening and closing the door. I put some red rubber grease on and the noise stopped. Should i remove the red rubber grease?
so, no mention if it is a one way latch and the rod needs to be retracted to unlock or if the slam latch can be released. We don't care about your signage and digital banners, we came to look at the lock. Zoom in a touch.
