For a lack of better terms, it does measure a sort of "discrimination". I've struggled with this in my head for a while, and a better way to describe the differences might be to say that it measures the differences in an individual's outcome simply due to residing in group "A" rather than "B". Do you have a better or more clear way to describe it?
