The Global Centre for Pluralism is an independent, charitable organization founded by His Highness the Aga Khan and the Government of Canada. The Centre works with policy leaders, educators and community builders around the world to amplify and implement the transformative power of pluralism. Our mission is to influence perspectives, inform policies and inspire pathways to advance pluralism.
All these speakers are either from the elite or academics not from the common people. Education; Throughout history people have tried to change the minds of criminals with punishments of every imaginable kind without success. Drug Education in schools has been present for many decades, how many millions of people having ignored this and taken narcotics. What do you say to minority peoples who's country and culture, religion becomes swamped by another. Equality does not exist in the universal world, it does not exist in the natural world, it is a subjective idea that springs forth from the minds of Humans. There will always be greater and lesser people than yourself on the planet. Diversity; is derivative to division. Unlike, not the same, not homogenous, opposite. Ancient wisdom & the Bible tells you a house that is divided is a house that will fall. These people will talk, go to conferences, have nice banquets paid for by sponsers who will then get the money of their tax. What will they achieve, nothing but smug self satisfaction. You can not change the minds of the common people ( I am one myself). WHY, they are blighted with preconcieved predelections. Further, they are doomed to think on the three degrees of thought me ,myself and I. As you can tell I am a realist, please any replies, don't just spit poison it really is tedious. Give a dialectic response establishing definite truths rebutting the points made and not just opiinions for they are worth nothing without a foundation of reality.

We are being invited to “celebrate diversity”. Depending on what that phrase is intended to mean, that could be a good thing. Depending on what that phrase is intended to mean, it could be counterproductive. Even when I was a child in the 1940s and ‘50s, I didn’t like being considered “normal”. Repeatedly, my dad advised me, “Read for yourself, study for yourself and think for yourself.” There can be no doubt that I have been influenced by other people but I’ve continued to follow Dad’s advice. Which means - as anyone who knows me can testify - I’m “different”. I don’t neatly fit into most of the nice neat little boxes people like to construct for each other. On the one hand, to the extent that the ways I’m different from my contemporaries is worthy of admiration or emulation, it may be appropriate to “celebrate” some of my admittedly less-than-ubiquitous eccentricities. On the other hand, it would be foolish to “celebrate” my eccentricities simply because they make me different from the majority of the people in my culture or subculture. There is no virtue in being different simply for the sake of being different. I fear that much of what is being labeled “celebrating differences” in our current (western) culture is of the latter sort - and should be frankly and explicitly decried. (Now will someone please paraphrase my comment in language the average fourth-grader can easily understand?)

(Quran 49:13) "O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things)
Can people go to RU-vid and check what is going on in Nigeria? Some of the topics to looks out for are: 1. Boko haram (a baby project of Amina and her Islamic government), 2. Killings in the south of Nigeria. 3. Poverty in Nigeria, 4. Nigeria government on Sowore, 5. Nigeria government on Dele Giwa, 5. Nigeria Government and Ken Saro wiwa, 6.Amputations in Nigeria, 7. Killing in Jos, 8. Killings in Anambra, 9.Nigeria government raid Sunday Igboho's house, 10. #End Sars in Nigeria, school children in Makoko lagos, bombed churches in Nigeria, Reverend fathers killed in Nigeria. These are among others. It is high time Nigerians hold the UN accountable for the evils they allowed amina and her allies commit in Nigeria.
Nigeria has always been in ethno-religious crisis which evidently started after to the unexpected, hypocritical killing and gruesome murder of the country's first Prime minister and leaders of particular region. Blaming Amina for all you mentioned only show how bigotic you are. Earlier in Nigeria's return to democracy there were serious cases of OPC attacking other tribes in Western part of the country, religious carnage in the Eastern parts like Onitsha, Nsukka among others between 1999-2003, many ethno-religious cleansing in Yelwan shandam, Tafawa Balewa, Southern Kaduna and Jos all in the first tenure of OBJ but the North is so exposed and understandable enough to have never attributed those killings to the religion and tribes of the then leaders. Why are you doing such great disservice to Nigeria?
You are only good at cursing hatred once given the opportunity to talk.. mind yourself, she is an international service person now. Carry your wahala back to Nigeria
Responsibility and governance are two terms used by people who understand the government. The responsibility is that they do not work for racism and racism, nor do they oppose those who seek peace and freedom around the world. They bring all ideas to the people. The family of men and women who are the owners of government or who brought government and freedom show people that they are men and women who have the word government and responsibility, but if these two words are used by people who work in racism and racism , Which is why the world is being colonized by anyone who loves peace, freedom and development. We must introduce and manage a government and accountability system where no one is colonized in order for the people to live in peace and stability. Headed by Kofi Annan, he called on Kenya to maintain calm and order, and called on Kenyan thinkers and their families to turn into racists and colonists. Given the longevity of the world, people seeking wealth and anonymous jobs based on race and ethnicity kill families and individuals. Identify those who have the idea of an open economy and the availability of leaders understand that Somalia’s neighbors and Somalia’s donor countries hate lies and contempt work. The word for peace and responsibility comes from Abdiweli Ali Dhimbil
I think federal funds/tax payers $ should have stayed in Canada and not been "donated" to a guy whose net worth is more then the gdp of most small countries. If you want to be a philantropist do it your own dollar. Canada already has a $1 trillion deficit.

“You have to work for the good of others, not just in your camp.” Love you, Karen Armstrong Sister:)🌻❤️💟🧡🌹🌼-Ibn Arabi-God cannot be confined...../Armstrong: “Every single human being should be seen as sacred.” Love this humor: “Nationalism is a kind of religiosity.” Wow, Mashallah, something to think about.
I came to this clip looking for pluralism in research but the subject pull my attention, diversity is good when you have a social system that harvests the knowledge from all peoples. all live in Law system that acceptable to all, but when you have social system encapsulated and segregated this is not pluralism,
I don’t understand why Muslims are so intolerant? Why Islam is so rigid and averse to reformation? Why they want others to follow their norms and traditions presuming theirs is the best way of life ?
Not all Muslims are intolerant. Ive known Muslims in the US who are chill. Be careful to not learn too much about others online and not experience other people personally.
