I love the Ridge Grapplers. I have nearly 60,000 miles on mine which are on a Tundra, and I expect to get another 10,000. Here is the problem though with a 35 inch tire. The cons are they are incredibly heavy. Most trucks stock are not prepared long-term to have tires that are nearly double the weight of their stock counterparts. If you are towing, or doing any kind of major off roading, you have to upgrade your upper/lower control arms, CV-joints due to angle increase with required lift to put these on. Also, axles tend to struggle over time because of the extra weight. They're wider so they grip more which can cause major stress on the suspension if it is not prepared for it. I have seen trucks and Jeeps with 35 inch tires have complete failures where tires are ripped off because the vehicle was not prepared for a tire this big. Plus, most need spacers because they will rub. Know your vehicle before you just throat a giant super heavy tire on it. Good luck!
for the silverados How do you deal with installing components in the front with external crossovers. Are you drilling through the door to connect the woofer and tweeter to the crossover, or you tapping into the vehicle wiring under the dash
Hey man nice job I won my truck with the same lift kit but with original wheels there are 20” you think they fit 35x11.50r20 on that 3.5” lift kit my truck it the same like the video
Would a 3 inch leveling kit have a similar look I would like to lift mine but do not want to sacrifice comfort so just wondering if that would make a difference? What are your recommendations Please and Thank you 🤝🏼
