Before putting words into my mouth, how about you take a look at the video fully and understand what I am saying. I pointed out that Cross Dresser are not all Trans, and not once that I did not say that Trans is not part of LGBTQ. So if you are going to spread misinformation, how about checking the video first before pointing finger.
@@Ame_Gakita 1- the whole video revolves around talking about sexuality rather than gender identity, "does wearing girl clothes makes makoto into guys?" to paraphrase 2 - the character in the series is obviously trans or at the very least non-binary, so the whole talk about cross-dressers doesn't even fit 3 - trying to frame this as "the west doesn't understand japan" is also nonsensical because everyone knows about femboys and drag queens, and no one equates those with being transgender

The problem arises isn’t about west not understanding femboy or drag queen, but it is also the west that categorized them as Trans, despite I pointing it was what twitter seem to be heading into. And there is no indication of the trans in the first place in the manga, as there was no sex change, etc. You have clearly saw that you do not understand the meaning of trans in the first place. And also why the east did not go with cross dressing are trans, cos they are just femboy, and there are many cases of male having wife or girlfriend and aren’t into male, or same for female cross dressers, who are into male. If they are into same sex, then it will be classified as the L and G. But it clearly not the cases. Also another point to notes, as I had pointed out, male or female wearing other gender clothes is not uncommon, but people going to make noise and indicate them as trans for convenience, and it’s mostly the west who did it, as show in twitter. So if you still don’t understand that point, then try rewatching the video.

The problem is that people, especially in human nature, will be very defensive, and when that happen, weird reasoning will come out like flowing water. (for example, my dog ate my homework, my grandma was sick etc) And in this case, they do not understand that cross-dresser can be straight, and are normal people who are just good at cross dressing. Yet they will just classify them as trans for their convenience.
To be fair, many games nowadays arre digital copy, and hardly many buy physical. And that lead to the point of do we even own the games when the company shut down, or even do we have the right to the game.

It's hilarious USA doesn't meet the players by region chart. And I believe it. Most people in USA are playing competitive games like Fortnight and Call of Duty.

I agree on that. It's just likely some of them are also just "passer-by" who join in without understanding the full-context. And when the words "Woke", "DEI" etc are used, they come in for the battle.
Are people forgetting Genshin Impact is a fictional game, with fictional characters in a fictional world, in a fictional universe? Assassin's Creed on the other hand is playing with historical characters in Japan, on this very Earth.

If you genuinely want to know why people are upset about this, have you tried asking them? Understand both sides of the conversation, have meaningful discussions and come to your own conclusions. From all the noise I have seen for Genshin, to me it’s all ridiculous. I will just continue to have fun playing it. Many of those who talked about race color or whatsoever, just got nothing better to do and unable to draw the fine line of reality and fiction.
Genshin are original characters inspired by countries. Yasuke was a real person. Genshin doesn’t need to change. Shadows does. Only brain dead people don’t understand that.
I do agree that shadows need to change. Like I mentioned, there’s a huge difference between inspired from, and history accurate. And even for Genshin which is inspired from real stuffs, doesn’t mean they have to go copy everything one to one, and yet some people just don’t understand that…
thank you.. this was a great video... i love the quotes from the game having to explain that its FICTION.. all of these people claiming Genshin Impact "whitewashed/ cultural appropriated" are ridiculous.. first of all, its an ENTIRELY FICTIONAL world.. there is no real world thing here, no real humans or places.. also, i have a feeling these very same people didnt care when God of War Ragnarok and Hades 2 made black versions of white gods (Norse and Greek), nor the constant race swapping of white characters made by white people into black characters (examples: April O Neil in Ninja Turtles, Ariel in the Little Mermaid, Nick Fury in Marvel Comics, and dozens more these people defended).. but, in the end, like Genshin they were in FICTIONAL worlds, so at least it is arguable.. but Genshin is in a fictional world entirely made by MiHoYo, not taken from other creators..then the whole "cultural appropriation" thing is even worse.. do you know how often non white/ non western shows/ games/ movies/ books etc get inspiration from western things? Thats FINE!! its made some of the best art on EARTH.. the Dark Souls/ Elden Ring world, Berserk and Ys and lots more is Japanese made but based on western influence, and they are incredible..yet these same people demand you believe Yasuke was a samurai in the real world, in spite of every historical reference saying he wasnt, and after they tried to say "well its fiction".. okay.. so if it was fiction, it was okay, but not Genshin's lands and characters? something tells me this wouldnt go both ways.. if white people demanded only white created things could use things invented by whites and their culture, i dont think theyd agree with that.. im sorry but your right.. get your local politics out of games, vtubing, anime, books, movies etc.. there is a difference between universal political ideas and partisan, localized political ideology!! Thanks. I never like forcing my views on others, and I always have to point out that it’s all my thoughts etc. But the recent situation makes it so ridiculous that I have to give my takes. And more so ever, those who make those noise are just being loud, that was all, and I suspect most of those people aren’t even gamers as well. Personally, I think what hyv is doing isn't racism or colorism or DEI that a lot of ppl are claiming, it's actually stealing from cultures featured in genshin. They just take a couple of different cultures, pick pieces of these cultures that are marketable, pretty or good for character design, then put them on a fair skin character (asian ppl like fair skin so this could be one of the main reasons) without really getting deeper into it or showing any interesting parts of the culture, which is kinda weird and crappy. This is not a new problem, this is an old problem, hyv has done this a bunch of times and they'll do it again. Ofc there are games that have accurate cultural representation like Dislyte. However, hyv doesn't care about cultural accuracy, they only care about marketing and profit. Regarding the boycott, I agree with you that it failed cuz ppl only complain on twitter or feedback, they still didn't quit the game.
Yes, they will just complain and not act on it at all, and continue to play the game, and continue to complain. But in regards to the culture stuffs, like I said, Mihoyo never care; as I mentioned in the random chat, they use the culture, but not based 100% on it. Only using as "inspiration". That is why they can use the excuse of "work of fiction", unlike Ubisoft which they claim time and time that it is historical accurate, only to have their stuffs to be all actual theft and not even accurate as well. What I also find annoying is how game journalists are clinging to this issues, and not addressing the ubisoft issues, which it is so obvious that they want to push their agenda on the race, dei or whatsoever, as well as pushing the spotlight to a game that is just a work of fiction.
while I don't support AI subs, those woke localizers definitely need to gtfo of the anime industry. ppl are prob also gonna turn to fan subs as an alternative. hopefully there will be better localizers who can do actual quality subs.
Till here I am of the using AI as a tool, and still human to do final proofreading beforehand. In a way, I would agree that I prefer fan subs more, as they are done by actual fans who love anime and sticking to the original content as much as possible.
hololive en has a lot of events this summer. debut earlier and participate into these events may better for their grow also en need more talents to keep streaming, off works and personal time normally
That’s a good point to make. If those girls grow more from the summer events, then I can see why the debut date would be nice and align to a lot of stuffs.
As a fan of Hololive and VShojo, Hololive are best at getting unknown people and making them huge in Hololive, But VShojo get people that are already known or had a PL in another company, But i'm interested seeing what VShojo can do with a not well known vtuber that has like 1k followers or below just to see if they can do what Hololive does, Seen Zentreya and Matara saying any size can apply for it, They are doing it for VShojo Japan as well and people think are VShojo finally going to do a group of vtubers joining in the Japan side cause Japan loves groups and be best to move them to RU-vid cause Twitch is not as big in Japan and RU-vid is better for a Japanese audience.
I will Vshojo the benefit of doubt for now, but like I mentioned in the video, I find it a bit hard to believe on them when they seem to claim about "Big or Small" based on their recruiting experiences.
i dont know the numbers, but from everyone ive heard talking about this it was a big success.. supposedly, people had to wait in line forever to get merchandise.. that couldve been because of scalpers trying to sell stuff online, but still, it showed that there was huge interest... also i think the dodgers could benefit from this by having japanese baseball fans support the LA Dodgers as happened before with Shohei Ohtani... also i seem to recall a time in the 90's when a japanese player became big in one of the Italian football (soccer) leagues and japan got really into italian football.. maybe they are hoping for similar crossover and exchange of fans.. maybe not likely, but couldnt hurt to try right?
I agree with a lot of your points you were making in your video. It doesn’t matter if people look good in the video game if the gameplay sucks. It doesn’t matter the nationality of the characters in the game if the game is not good. Gamers need to focus on Developers, making better games instead of adding their own political or personal narrative into video games
Ollie, Astel and Matsuri were the one I remember that openly show that they mourn to their fans passing. Like I remember few months I joined the rabbit hole, there was the Kelanduo (Sorry if I misspelled their name) that made a tribute and Matsuri are the one that blessed their soul. But for Ollie, GooGhoul was one of the OG zomrade in the community. Always blessing her timeline with art comms she made for Ollie. Heck, even the zomrades took a heavy damage from her passing since Goo was the sweetest, funniest, sus and enjoyable to hangout with. Them showing that they care for their fanbase really make us more attached to them
I'm sorry but i have to disagree with you, about you not being a fan of Hololive/star. Just that one statement, everything else i can totally agree. Sure you might no be a hardcore fan, however the fact that you took your time and attention to actually watch their stream and enjoying their content, shows that you actually care about them. For example, what is one of your hobby that you have which you spend the least time on / you rarely do? Do you still enjoy that activity despite the lack of dedication and time spent on it? I think you already know the answer and where i'm going with this.
That's still depend on how one define the word "fan", and all I do is showing some interest in them, as I don't think I was able to give my all into watching all of their stream or video; I did mentioned that I was able to watch clips when I don't have the time. I'm pretty fresh in the rabbit hole, but I can only agree - All hololive talents as well as the fanbase are extremely supportive and wholesome, just shows that hololive was built on a solid foundation, A-Chan & Sora, Gen1/Gen0 - they along with Yagoo created something awesome, vision/the dream first, then think about monetization. The closest "drama" I have seen was the rather sudden departure of Vesper and Magni, after they got their model refresh, so bad timing - but understandable, they just didn't have enough pull/success from their POV and the termination of Mel. While in other Agencies there is no day without the next horror-story of backstabbing, favoritism, horrible management, abusive contracts... Hololive has some troubled past, esp. with the CN fallout, but it is clear that they learned from it - so while it is still a bit worrying that they are active on Bilibili again, I think they are way more careful now. Also panic-mode with Capcom and similar weren't their greatest moments - but all that happened before I took notice of VTubers, so I don't really have a big connection to that. Hololive is giving the talents enough space to express themselves, like Marine with their awesome MV - other agencies might have denied it (because it would be unfair to other talents that cannot spend so much on it or they think it would put too much pressure on others), or just allowing Ame/myth to do their own little VR/3d stuff, letting Calli and Kobo sign with Universal, in general being cool with them being active as alternate personas. So at least from the outside it definitely looks like everyone has supportive management. Even when Kiara complained about not having same opportunities as JP members, it wasn't a complaint against the company, just being frustrated about the situation, their studio is in JP, not in Austria, so it is only natural that the circumstances just don't allow for bigger stuff, that off-collabs are rare, etc. Also seems like Indonesian fans are especially supportive/crazy in a good way and not obsessive like some western or JP "fans" (I probably will never understand why people are OK with having GFE/BFE streams where thousands of people are watching/the target but then freak out when there's a collab with the opposite gender)
The rabbit hole is very very deep. But the gf bf stuff, one of the successful vtubers at that time that doing gfe was Rushia from hololive. And the backlash was also very great at that time.

He claimed that a helmet saved him, but if you look at the helmet, it took very little damage. The only damage was that the visor section broke off. I'm sure his injury from getting hit by a vehicle was severe, but that impact was to his body not to his head. And while getting hit _can_ still mean getting a significant head injury as well, based on the helmet damage it seems like it wouldn't have hurt the head much (his head/helmet clearly wasn't knocked hard onto the concrete because the visor is at the _front_ and he wasn't read-ended) Regarding mandatory helmet laws, these are very bad because it has been statistically proven to reduce cycling use by a very large amount. Millions more people cycling every week outweighs 50 more people dying every year at their own informed risk. The fact that head injuries can be lethal isn't the main factor to consider; what matters even more is how often accidents occur and how often _serious_ head injuries occur in such accidents. Head injuries occur doing a lot of activities but it's rare that they cause loss of life (or even have long term lasting effects)
I am sure we can go about the helmet thing for a long while, but as Penguinz0 mentioned in his own video, while it might not be the one to protect one whole body, it’s protecting one important part which is the brain. As I mentioned in my video, a brunt trauma injury to the head, can cause serious damage to the brain, and may result in death. And based on the injury of Gordon Ramsay, as well the photo he provided in his IG, it seems that if he did not wear a helmet, it would crack his head, as there is a big crack on the front of the helmet. So I do not know what are you trying to debunk about helmet isn’t good or whatever, or downplaying the crack on Gordon Ramsay helmet as “a scratch”. If you can provide the source of that helmet from your end, I would like to have a look at it. If many people wished not to wear a helmet, that is their choice and problem. In Singapore and Japan, the law only applies when they are caught, and if in case of accidents, if the person or cyclists did not wear a helmet, they will not be able to use insurance to cover most of their injuries. And in the case of death, the issues may become a problem due to no helmet, and if the cause of death is due to serious head injury. I’m not forcing everyone to wear a helmet, but if everyone value their life, wearing a helmet is recommended. But if wearing a helmet is so hard, they are free to do so, just don’t blame anyone when they get into trouble. The law is make to help and reduced problem, not babysit everyone. If law is so important, why is crime still happening all over the world?
Well, in a way, it’s started due to Genshin. Mostly the content creators side, but more on issues on their end, and drag into the Genshin community, and become the Genshin and its company problem. Which is why I stated that it should not exist, and be just the content creators’ problem.

Sorry, as many who are making noise are seemingly from America, so somehow I just go to that thought of the firm being America. But yes, it would seem that they are trying to get gamers and other communities to fight each other, and make more games worst. For now I am hoping that many eastern games are not being influence by them, though sadly some Japanese game companies apparently some tie/link to SWI. For now, I can only hope the voice of the gamers are being heard and spread, and drown those noise they're making.
Now I wouldn't say Americans are truly fighting this. As our states atleast most of them showcase they prefer this through voting and other things happening. Like I understand quite a few Americans are fighting back about stuff like this,but generally most either don't fight or side with this. And sadly since it is Assassin's Creed most people won't be fighting it via their wallets.
Can you provide the source of that vote, and done by who, for which game? So far from what I have seen, it’s more like 1% voted for the DEI instead of the gamers which make up 99% So I need sources to counter the information I have on hand, and to give both side of the coin better.

The problem is Chiitan seems to be getting involved in controversial politics. The mayor is doing the right thing lol. Now if they didn't advertise political propaganda and just stuck to trying to improve things and promote her origin area then it would be different. I don't follow all Chiitan's activities but I have seen some bad ones lol. Not the kind of content that deserves promotion.
So far from what I know, the mascot "reckless behavior" and "violence" was considered as "turn off" for the city and mayor, and as I mentioned, may be misrepresenting the behavior of the citizens. But at the same time, those action can be considered as slap-stick comedy, and thus why many like that humor. In my view, I can see both side, and understand why it can be considered as controversial. But as I mentioned as well, as there is many other Japan Mascots, so what Chiitan did is just trying to stand out among all of them. Again, if one do not like her, one can simply ignore and dont watch her, and move on.
Well, sometimes, people will use almost anything for political purposes or messages at times. I can’t fully judge based on what I have about Chiitan, but I can only hope she bring laughters and joy to other with her comedy only and not be involved with politics.

There are plenty videos that are age restricted, if the account doesn't have the right age it can't be viewed. So there should be no problem with asmr if it's tagged right. But then the companies don't care.
