Hello! This is the first video of yours I've come across as this appeared on the homepage and I wanted to ask a few things! Are you left handed? I noticed you write with your left, but eat with your right. Unless the camera was flipped and I didn't notice. For me, I'm right handed but eat with my left hand. So I think we might be cousins 😂 How does living alone get to you mentally/emotionally? I've seen a few other videos from Japanese people who say a mixture of things. Most of them say they get lonely, some say they battle depression, and others say they love it. I've noticed Japan seems to be a great place for introverts, and from your video you say you're one yourself, so does any of this bother you? Thank you for the video! It was much nicer seeing vlogs like this from smaller channels too :)
Hi, thank you for your thoughtful questions! I am right handed, the camera might be flipped on some parts since i rotate between my front and back camera on my phone. nice observation 😅 When i first moved out alone it felt so liberating and i loved it. But then as time went on, it did kind of feel a bit lonely and i did struggle mentally. It is a factor that plays into my mental health, but not the whole aspect. For me it comes in waves, some days are not so good and some days are better. I used to work fully remote at home, but now I work a few days in office, so that really helped me. It is something i'm still figuring out and learning to deal with. hope that answers things! 💛
@@dearchives Since the feeling of loneliness comes to you in waves, does anything specific have to happen for you to feel it? Dreams? Seeing people walking outside? Going to the store and interacting with people? Anything? Or is it random when you do or don't feel it? Sometimes I look out my window and see the mountains and trees and get the feeling of longing some days too. But what about you? Did covid have any effect on your social life or have you always been someone that prefers being alone? I used to be with my friends often pre-covid, but since the world was changed during that time we all stopped seeing each other, and haven't really since then. I've grown to adore my alone time but there are times where I do miss it. And finally, would you say you're a much more confident and optimistic person now that you're living alone and finding success, or has the feeling of isolation and on/off feelings of loneliness made you have deeper introspection and self-evaluation from what you truly find happiness in?
@@iTunsiscool26 I think feelings of loneliness can arise from different things, and the pandemic definitely had an effect. I'm not comfortable going into details, but you did raise some questions for thought.
@@dearchives No problem! I hope these questions you may now ask yourself lead to a deeper sense of self-understanding. I hope I didn't do anything bad. It's always good to have thoughts/emotions challenged and see if they hold up, or possibly lead to something even greater :)
Omg, your work period starts super early!😂😂😂 I hope you had enough rest and relaxation. I also wish you meet great colleagues at your new workplace! Sitting next to the manager might bring back nostalgic memories of sitting in front of the class at school 🤫
yeah, i thought i'd have a longer break in between. thank you for your kind wishes 💛 i always sat in the middle during school and maybe at the back if im eating 🙊🙊
@@dearchives I always sat in the front because I’m short and the teachers thought that it would be nice if short students sit in front, so that we can see everything on the whiteboard 🤣🤣😂 I couldn’t even have some candy!🍬
I could feel your relief of finally leaving work all the way from Nigeria 😂 I'm glad you can breathe better and nothing is stressing you out anymore. I am a first-time watcher, so I hope you don't mind me asking - was your jo so tasking and overwhelming that you had to leave? Or did you go for other reasons? hope this isn't me overstepping or something 😅
@@dearchives My goodness, those are the worst. My previous job last year, I would find myself bursting into tears randomly in the office (thank God I was the only staff then, so I could cry in peace). I didn't know how to tell anyone I felt like running away because it wasn't like the job was tasking perse. I found another opportunity this year for another job, and although the salary was such a downgrade, I jumped on it. Cheers to freedom ✨ Whatever your next steps may be, I pray you have direction in Jesus name 🌼
@@minjeongscat i think in canada/usa it's on till the end of sept. you should check your country's apple store (it works online too!). the education pricing is year round, but some countries currently have a back to school promo on top of it!

Hi, I'm from Brazil and I love this video, I'm almost in the final stages of leaving my job too! Our health should be the first priority! Good luck in this new era! ❤ +1 sub
You made the right choice. Work shouldn’t suppose to be everything in life. Cheers up from Thailand 😘🥳 Enjoy your freedom! P.s I don’t normally post, but I just want let you know that this world is bigger than you thought !
@@dearchives Thailand is now a rainy season (combine with heat) so super hot and humid🫠 But I prefer the rain more than super sunny day, it’s so comfy while staying in AC room😊
