"Moving from City to Country" Do It Yourself Ideas!
Homesteading was becoming a lost art but thanks to the internet, we have been able to learn many things from the fine people across the globe. We are grateful and want to give back. We upload videos regularly about our learning experiences on our small farm.
We moved from the city to the country in 2005. We are crazy about nutrition and the simple life. We want the very best for our growing family :)
Our channel interests vary with the creativity of the family and may include alternative energy and building, automotive jobs, artistic projects, raising naturally fed animals and organic gardening with aquaponics! Catch us weekly for the the updates!
Meaning to be helpful, I 've just recently discovered your family channel, Great! 💜💜💜💜💜Would Industrial size "saran wrap" set inside the hextional forms help from sticking to the forms? Or Spray with a cooking oil -- use a garden type 1/2 gallon type pump sprayer??? You may have already tried.
I'm glad you're doing the shorts because it's fun to look back. On them cause I've watched everyone of your videos 2 or 3 times I love you You guys so much. You're always in my thoughts and prayers.😊❤
I remember this video. It is so fun watching back on the videos. I always wondered if he was actually going to get it working and then I watched him dig the will on the home 🏡
I remember cobbling together a Styrofoam box with 3 towels, and a particularly heated light bulb with one if them turkey thermometers i poked in from the outside. I had spray bottle I'd spray whenever I'd go in to turn the eggies. One in the morn, afternoon and night. It was two eggs, one hatched the other was infertile
I just want a guys to know. I have always enjoying your channel on RU-vid. I know you had to step back for your own sake. I would have to do the same Losing game was not easy and my husband gave passed away In February I've 24. I just thought that was pretty cool that your dad's name is Gary
You came to my yard sale today, and I am so embarrassed that I didn't remember your channel. It was the highlight of my day meeting with y'all! Great channel.
"Pivot! Pivot!" 🛋️ 😅 Love watching the process, it's so exciting to transform a place... and you're such am adorable duo 🥰 I must say that for 60k, I would have converted a medium sized skoolie with all the bells and whistles! But that's my own preference 🤔 🫡 🚌 🌍
So very sorry for your loss! I remember the first time I watched your video, I fell in love with your family and was ready to be adopted even tho I was old enough to be your grandma. You. Are an amazing family! I have t seen recent videos from you all but over this weekend found a video I thought was new but had heard a few comments that slowly made me realize things have changed! Keep doing what you do! Your dad taught you well! Keep smiling and talking about him. Memories are such a blessing!! Let them roll! You are all loved by many followers! God bless you all!
Making pavers so of course I've come to your vids. It's awesome how far you guys have come in a year. It's always a pleasure seeing Gary's face. Much love to you all.
Somehow I lost your channel for a couple of years. Today I searched until I found it again. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
I saw on tiktok about some people doing the things you are living out there and remembered about you all and came back to youtube to see you all. I feel so sad learning of the passing of your father 😢 so sorry for your loss.
I just went through this process in Oregon on my property. I bought a Bucyus Erie 22W and learned how to drill. Went from zero to 197’. We are about 20 miles from Crater Lake, so it was volcanic rock starting at 24’ all the way down. Had to use a bump bar a few times on the bit, and use the bit to bump the bailer twice. Never used a socket though. The material you are drilling must be pretty soft. My best days were about 15’, and the worst days were a few inches. Probably the most difficult thing I’ve done. The well drillers here are out of control with their prices though. More than 29k for a 200’ well, or buy a rig and support rig with all the tooling for 30k.
Looking great guys, might I suggest putting some panels on the other side, so all the weight is not on one side and also to help keep the wind from lifting it up from one side.
May I make a suggestion...Have you ever went on vacation out of the country as adults together? I think it would do you all some good to maybe go on one of those excursion country vacations where everything is all included. I say this because it seems that for years you all have worked to build and it just seems that it's time for you all to just take a minute and go somewhere and do nothing but just have fun with each other. I have not been there but I've seen people go to Greece, England and Egypt. Maybe y'all can just travel for a bit.
Oh my word,I am so sorry,I haven't been on in a while. Poor Gary,a very kind, caring person,ye were so blessed to have such a beautiful person in your lives. R.I.P Gary.
I'm wondering, did you check on the toxicity of what was in The container before? The plastic will absorb some chemicals and you can't get it out entirely no matter how much you clean it. It'll then leach into the water and get into whatever you are raising.
