I suppose you mention rubber outsole. For rubber outsole, the minimum thickness should be at 1.5 mm and there are some reasons for that: _ Rubber sole need to be buffed before stockfitting / assembly ==> too thin, easy to be torn _ Rubber sole is the ground contact part ==> too thin, soon gone
