Great videos Any idea what the best 2 seater to buy And would it be side by side or in front and back position craft Oh and is there anywhere you can buy second hand thank you
I think all flexwings are front and back seats. I'm a P&M Quik GTR fan. Others are available but I don't know that much about them. Try AFORS in the UK
Hi Trev Many thanks for the info. I thought that might be the case but expect others are quite expensive. I have flown a microlight😊 with an instructor and found it very enjoyable. Safe flying
Hi Mark yes i've seen a few of your video's 👍I think we have met once before over at Husbands Bosworth when Clive organised a bit of a fly in there last year.😉
Hi Trev, My first (and only) visit to Wingland was on 23rd May 2009, on my way out to France with a friend for the first time. We were met by the owner who had already done a fuel run for us, then took us back to his house for our dinner - and invited us to stay overnight, rather than camp. Unbelievably generous. 🙂
Great vid thanks Trev. Training with Neil at Deenethorpe at the moment and loving it. It'll be great to do stuff like this once I get my NPPL. Keep 'em coming!
I don't fly but these vids are a great window into your flying life. Fabulous. The flights must take quite a bit of planning though. You have to wait for the right weather etc? And I don"t think that life gets much better than that moment with the sandwich… quietly reflecting.
No it's not a stupid question at all. I have a foot throttle that I use for take off and landing. I then have a hand throttle for when i'm in the cruise. 😉
G'day Trev. Well it's Sunday morning down here in Nz. And in spite of the fact that I can think for myself, I'm still going to pinch your idea for breakfast. And like you, missing will be the tomatoes. And hashbrowns, and mushrooms. But I do have a coffee grinder, so have fresh brewed coffee. But seriously thank you for sharing.. Loving your channel. Keep those episodes coming. Atb.
Awesome flight and views. The Caribbean looks like that but is a lot warmer 25 to 30 deg C instead of 16 to 19 deg C sea temp. You sound like you are from the Nottingham area.
It's my fuel computer. It tells me my fuel burn in ltrs per hr and fuel remaining in ltrs. I have allways wanted to fly. firstly I did about 30 years of RC model flying from gliders to helicopters. I then did around 100 hrs on paramotors. I then bought a sub 70 flexwing. I did about 20 hrs on that and then I started training for my NPPL (National Private Pilots Licence)
Does it worry you flying at only just over 1000ft over a built up area? Is there any realistic outs should you have an engine failure? Great video by the way
To be honest rightly or wrongly I have confidence in my aircraft that has been built up over many hours in challanging conditions. I am also confident that I could get down on a sports pitch or green space. However as stated twice in my video "this is how I do it" Please don't use my video as a training sorce. The info is more about my preparation and the radio calls.
