I have two key fobs. Pretty sure I used this video to replace the first battery a few months ago, and just used it again to replace the second one. I apparently have subpar toothpicks and had to use a small flathead screwdriver to actually release the battery, but otherwise top notch. Thank you for posting this simple instructional video.
I am cleaning my 25 year old Weber 1100 before putting the new burners in. Starting to look brand spanking new again. Even girls can do this... Hardest part is going to be getting the wingnut off the outside of the bucket. Wish they had used bolts instead. I bought a kit through Amazon that has the burner kit and my Weber needs 17 flavorizer bars. Can't wait to get grilling again.
I disassembled and reassembled the computer because I needed to improve the RAM memory. But now I don't have the PC's internal mouse working, nor do I have the power and disk usage lights on. What cable did I forget to connect?
IF you want to replace the spark ignighter, it is about 10 bucks and clips right into place. The little flipper button on the gas control furface simply sits over the button on the ignighter assembly and acts as a place for your finger to press down and fire off the ignighter. Bob S
Hello, I am getting the Class of '81 Deluxe cabinet, and I'd like to swap out the joystick during the assembly. Do you know if your instructions will be different for the newer deluxe cabinet? Apparently, the control panel and the monitor are 1 unit, so I'm concerned that the install might be different. Also, do you recommend swapping out the buttons too, or just the joystick? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
@@thepuzzledmagician I'm not familiar with the Class of '81 Deluxe cabinet. I'd try it out before you decide to change anything. It might be awesome the way it is. If you end up modding it, please post some comments here on how it differs. Congratulations on the new setup!
Very Helpful! Just replaced my 15 year old original rusted out burner tubes on my 2008 Genesis 320 after watching this. Only issue for me was that one of the bolts holding the manifold bracket was completely rusted and I couldn't get a socket or vice grips on it so I had to drill it out. I replaced with a 2 1/2 inch stainless hex bolt and nut. New burners work great!!
Thank you for this video. It was very easy to follow and worked perfectly once replaced. Also, thanks for putting the part number in the description. When I called O'Reilly, they said there was no harness number, but I gave them the one in the description and they pulled it right up. Thanks again!!!
thanks for the video, it gave me the confidence to replace the draft inducer motor myself. A local HVAC company wants to charge me $1499 to replace it. They also said that it was the last motor available in the whole united states. I found the motor on Amazon for $63.95 and the draft inducer blower wheel for $30
How's the MK button? I just picked up a pair of those for my MK2 Deluxe. I'm also swapping all the buttons with the light up version from DYI Retro Arcade. I'm not lighting them up though lol.
The key that came with this vent will not stay permanently installed. You just insert and turn like a screwdriver to open or close. If you let go of the key, it will fall out. I have however seen a permanent turn knob on some models.
