I've been crying for about 4 hours straight, just non stop tears pouring down my face and I put on this song and my mood changed instantly I literally love the cure so much
Definitively a top+ debut album, but which one? Three Imaginary Boys or Boy's Don't Cry. First The cure album depends on which country you live in I guess. Anyway those two are A+ but imo it was only a prequel to their best album ever "Seventeen Seconds"
I was 7 when this came out in around '79 in my country. Such music were called 'underground' at the time, as it did not conform to the musical styles of the era. I like the John Peele Sessions' version much better, though. Time flies, I'm now approaching the halfway mark of my life - time to listen to more Cure songs.
I heard this for the first about a month & a half ago. And I fell in Love with it in the 1st 15 seconds. The chorus took about 3 times of hearing the song to see past it. The wammy bar or whatever it is they got on the guitar - it just does so much for this song. This song makes me happy & sad, nostalgic, compelled & wanna dance all at the same time. It’s the most beautiful song to me
I don't know what part of the world you are from, but I'm sure far away. I usually go to work listening to The Cure when it's fall and it's raining. Greetings from the other side of the world called Argentina.
