No I havnt, I loved the feel and handling of it but being quite short I kept buzzing my ass off the tyre on steeps and in some corners so now ride a mullet. I wouldn't hesitate to have another mind now that they do a mullet rear end for them.
Off piste at Glentress looking good, some skillful line choices there on steep sections was going to say looked dry but then seen dreaded puddles 😂 well ridden and thanks for sharing! 😁🤙
Hey mate, fellow Osmo action 4 user here. If you want to get rid of the light blur and glitching in low light turn sharpness and noise reduction to -2! A lad called Alex done a bunch of testing. Can always add sharpness again in post production :). Cracking vid, go there all the time it’s the best!
Thats pretty much impossible to answer as it depends on what type of riding, rider ability etc, Northumberland is a huge county with all types of riding available depending on your personal preferences.
Another quality video. 🔥 What camera and settings do you use? You seem to be able to make steep trails looks steep - where mostly my footage and others make them look flat!
Thanks, I am using a DJI Osmo action 4 and just run it on 2.7k at 50fps, I still dont think it does the gradient justice but seems better than my gopro.
Thornielee is such a great place and my favourite place in the valley. In the Summer it reminds of the Italian Alps . Great riding and you had a pretty good pace on .
Maybe sd car issue. Could be a faulty. But if slow sd car might stops writing completely if vid is too long. But maybe it was sjuy short enough to cause a few hickups. Unless it's editing software that's the issue. Faulty render. Or accidental effect added, but that's one is unlikely you probably would have known if you added an effect. It was just at few spots. Seems like it's skipping frames so could be sd card. If it's a fast card it's likely faulty.
Curious if the horrible high pitch squeek is the Hope brake pads and if so which compound? Unpleasant sound. I've ran Hope rotors in the past and they've been really quiet, but was with Shimano metallic pads, then Trp semi metallic pads. If it's the pads you should try different pads. But the rotors i tried were not the vented rotors. I looked dit up, other shave the same issue. I remember reading something about it before. I see people still have issues. Defenitly not the brake for me. But also nor is DOT.
I run hopes own red pads on both bikes and one of them has a squeak from the front brake which I assumed was an alignment thing that I just havnt got around to adjusting
Ok, buy what I read it seems be the pads. Some say put tape at the back of the pads. Never seen that. Some say it's only at moderate speeds. Also read the green Galfer pads are quiet, but the purple squeek. @@cheviothillrider
Cademuir is class. That send on Vanishing Point after the initial descent isnt as bad as it looks too. Quite pedally on the shae section but good fun. All the others are brilliant, love a bit of Decade too. Enjoy your channel and @euanbegbie channel is a good watch as well as you guys ride all my locals in the Tweed Valley
Thanks, I have been to Thrunton but its not really open....officially all trails apart from maybe 1 short one are fenced / signed / taped off. Looks like the reopening has just been a tick box exercise by FE with a 1 mile fire road walking loop all thats officially available to people.
