Good amp!....it also has "Line Out", so you can wire DIRECTLY into a PA system Subwoofer!! No need to mic in larger venues, plug right in, done.... Still rattles my 2-car garage apart on it's own though! Lol....literally weightless, crazy stuff. I can't believe this amp is only $300 dollars or so. Markbass wanted almost $400 for their Amp, and I thought it was Way over priced.....Fender sounds better in my opinion.

Are you asking me if I am looking or are you telling me you are looking? If you are looking I would have no clue about anything in a PDF form for song creation but there ae many programs out there that do song creation so I am sure you can find one. Me personally I do not want some AI type program writing my songs and music for me because then what is the point of being a musician or song writer when you are not the one actually writing the songs or lyrics. But hey that is just me and what do I know not much.

Thank you for the great comment I really appreciate it and I am glad that the video was able to help you out. If you do not know it is a 3 part series to really try and help out anyone that owns the Boss GT-1000. Affter I purchused mine a saw that the little crappy so called manuel they had put in wiht ti was literally crap and after searching to find anyone that made a video showing how to actually use this crazy effects pedal. I took it upon myself to make a video series on the boss GT-1000 to keep ot simple and to the point and to show people how to actually use it. I to had many frustrations when I first got mine but all I did was first find out how to set it back to the factory settings so if I totally screwed it up I could reset it. And then I just started turning and pushing buttons until I figured it out. I spent 2 solid weeks every day for many hours messing with it until I figured it out and then in that process I also decided to make all the videos so as to help others. So I am very glad that this video series has helped so many because that was what I wanted it to do. So thank you for watching and for you comment I really appreciate it.

I've been using computers since the 1980s for my graphic design business. But for music, been through the decades using hardware recorders. Tascam open reel, Fostex 2x speed 4trk. cassette, then the Roland VS-880, and around the late 90s I tried a DAW running on the then current WindowsXP, and hated it. Went back to hardware with a Zoom R24 which I have used for the last 15 years, making over 70 albums of music...and that little Zoom has never failed a recording, not one freeze or lockup, when you hit record, it records without an error. Add to this; gigantic bright VU meters for each track you can see across the room. Yea, I'm sold on hardware recording for music. Maybe the Zoom LivTrak 20 channel next. (I multi-track but record the whole song live in one take to a 32-channel mixer subbed down to the 8 tracks of input on the Zoom). It is so fast and problem free to use hardware recorders, the only errors are the ones I make, and not too many of those.

I do not need a bunch of plug ins and all that other mumbo jumbo because I actually have a very nice collection of amos I can use as well as guitars and multi effects pedals. I just bought an LTD ec-256 in black from Sweetwater. I really liked the listed weight of 6 lbs 10 oz's and that it was a demo with $50 off at $449. I called up the sales guy and got another $25 off. After I got it, I can barely see the couple of imperfections in the paint they pictured. In fact, if I hadn't known where to look I would have never found them. I bought this guitar to mod out. First to go will be the cheap plastic nut it comes with and replacing it with a graphtech tusq xl. I'm also going with a set of EMG active pickups and Gotoh locking tuners. The tuners should just drop in using the existing screw holes. I checked the frets and was very pleased. I found no high frets. It's a great guitar for the price. You can really get great guitars now days at affordable prices. When I was a kid back in the day you had two choices. Pieces of cheap junk and expensive Fenders and Gibson's.

so this pedal is reliable I already have a massive headrush looper and the digitech trio plus that has drums but learns your riff sometimes quirky i saw a good deal on one of these RC 10s now in mid 2024 ,i 'm thinking it looks fun and is not another monster learning curve ,also looked at the Rc 500 seems like a lot of work Forget the 600 .your thoughts ? cool vid BTW
@Rocktalk101
@Rocktalk101 29 дней назад
Ok so I have not messed with the rc 500 or 600 so can't speak to how well they work or how complicated they are. I can say that I love my RC10 as it works just like I thought it would and is not super complicated to use and program. I also love that the loop is so long that you can record a full song in each slot so you can literally create a whole set list and go play a full show with it. and with being able to layer your tracks it is like playing with a whole band so I really like it especially since I do lots of solo shows it is a pretty great tool to have. and if you run it like I do and split the drums and the guitars which is I run the drums into the PA and the guitar stuff into my amp it sounds great live in the room. So I hope that helps answer you question. I made this video in the hope of helping people to see how this can be used in a live setting for solo artist.

hi there - thanks for this demo! Just picked this up second hand and this my exact use case. A bit flummoxed by the software though! how are you adding your own backing tracks to this?
@Rocktalk101
@Rocktalk101 Месяц назад
So if you do not have the manual then you really will need to down load it if you do have the manual I truly understand how confusing it can be lol! So this looper has up to 6hrs of looping time so what I am doing is literally playing recording and looping an entire song into each slot. which means I record the rthym guitar parts then go back and put in the bass guitar parts in the loop basically doing multible over dubs is what I am doing with each part for the song. then you have to mak sure you have the drum sync turned on as well so everything syncs up properly. Then I run the split cable set up which it tells you in the manual how to do that which means I run all the guitar and bass parts through my amp and all the drums go into my PA. doing this allows the drums to sound like drums and not be all fuzzy and distorted through the guitar amp. Ya it is a little compicated and a lot of work to get each song programmed in it but once you figure it out and get the hang of it it, it is well worth it in the end. I was hoping that this video would help people out with this peddle with out having to do a deep dive video but I guess I will have to do a deep dive video on this pedal like I did with the Boss GT-1000. There is a lot going on with this pedal for sure and i am still learning it as well but if you are a solo artist it is a pretty awsome piece of gear once you get the hang of it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them for you.
@versuswhat
@versuswhat 29 дней назад
@@Rocktalk101 hi there - thanks for detailed reply! I did download the manual but I found the instructions quite messy. I do get the basic looping and drum machine functionality but as a solo performer the ability to load my own backing/drum tracks is why I got this. And heaven for bid for my miss spelling of the word Too or to... I mean for f#@ks sake I am not building rockets here I am just making videos talking about music gear on yotube.

The 59 Epi is great, the rest of the lower end Les Pauls need pickups in them.

If you want to have problems with your amp…go with Mark Bass and they are expensive to fix as well.

The amp sims in the aw1600 are pretty great sounding actually. The reverb in them is the reason I bought 1 again recently, the reverse gate man! That is a beautiful verb, I've never found everything close to it in a daw.

@@RUBBERTANK_3 awsome ya like I said in my other comment there are several multi track recorders that have some great amp and cab sims as well as pedal effects and even drum machines built into them that allow you to create full songs with no problem. thanks again for watching and the great comment.

I still have my Korg D1600 but now I use an MPC One because I got fed up with the linear multitrack paradigm after 40 years. I like the freedom of recording each section of a song and being able to swap them around or try adding a pre-chorus or whatever and if I don't like it I can just leave it out - much easier than editing it in and then having to delete it. It's also a lot of fun to sample my playing and chop it up and come up with things that I wouldn't have come up with otherwise. The disadvantage with the One is no mic preamps but I could use a USB audio interface with it if I needed multiple mic preamps. As I don't need that I use an ART Voice Channel for mono tracks. I've gone back to the way I used to record on my Tascam 244 so I record with EQ and compression. It's a much quicker way to record and prevents me second guessing my decisions.

Can the beat be started off with the fill? It would be great for recording drum tracks since there is no count-in.

Coming from a similar background recording on cassette 4-track, I have to say that I like both I like to use physical machines but I have so much flexibility on the computer! I myself am working a series of RU-vid videos on getting professional products (music and video) using older equipment!

Thanks I have a video up that shows my whole current collection as well if you want to check that out as not all of them or in this video lol! I currently own 5 PRS guitars 2 Se-245 1 SE-standard and 2 SE 24 customs and I love all of them really great guitars. thanks for watching and the comment. I would check sweetwater for sales as they usually have some good ones and then contact one of there sales guys and see if they can give you a deal usually if they have a few in stock you can get $50 or $100 off on a guitar I have done that few times with them.

@@Rocktalk101 Thanks for the insight! I tried a PRS SE Paul's Guitar and did not like it-far inferior to my Fenders and Gibsons. I've give the Custom 24 a shot next.

@Rocktalk101 2 месяца назад
@@Ryan_Q3L I will say that my PRS SE customs are my favorite PRS guitars I own. I did not like the PRS SE Pauls guitar either so don't feel bad about that. lol! For me it is either the Custom 24 or the single cut SE245 which has been replaced with the single cut mccarty 594 which I do not like as much as my SE245 So I am glad I was able to get 2 of the SE 245 guitars before they phased them out. Funny thing though is that Fenders have never suited me and it not that I think there bad guitar as I have owned a few strats and telecasters over the yrear they just never felt right in my hands. My 4 main brands I play are Schecter, ESP, PRS, and Epiphone guitars. There are others I like but those are my 4 top brands and the ones I own. I do play and own a few Ibanez Bass guitars and I used to be a big Ibanez guitar guy but once I found schecter that was the end of me buying Ibanez guitars for the most part. I still like Ibanez but I like my schecters more lol!

Well All I can say is it is plenty loud enough to play any gig you want to in my opinion and it has zero issues cutting through a mix so far with anything I have done with it either. But I get it some people just want more power. Orange does make a several larger bass amp rigs but that involves buying ahead and a cab. thanks for watching and commenting on the video appreciate it.

The only band I haven't seen out of all of those is Creed. The Warning played at a small club and I was right up front. I saw EV/Halestorm/Plush all at the same concert. Saw Heart play a New Years Eve gig around '79 or '80 (it's been awhile).

Imagine how much will Fender and Gibson charge for this same quality, craftsmanship and materials. PRS is literally overkilled.
@Rocktalk101

Y ain my opinion PRS is knocking it out of the park with there guitars. Never been a fan of Fender guitars and Gibson well they are so over priced and the QC still sucks with gibson. At least with Fender there QC seems good. Schecter is another guitar company that blows Fender and Gibson away as well. thanks for watching and the comment.
