@TopLEGO2023 n29,25,20,18,2 and 12 are just so inaccurate How can you even dare to call the set 41429 a "boeing 737" It looks nothing like a 737, or any irl aircraft I'm not hating but it just hurts me seeing you calling lego planes that look nothing like irl aircrafts the plane you showed
I love Flamzer!!! I used annual price increase to rank popularity, but this system is not always 100% accurate. Flamzer should have been on this list. How cool would it be if LEGO brought back the Mixels with modern build techniques! I would buy every single one. Thank you so much for your comment!
I wish that I could remember where I'd originally heard that. It was in the last couple of years or so when Lego first put that minifig display together to show at events. It might've been from MandR or some other bigshot Lego collector that I watch. But from wherever I'd heard it, that bit of info really stuck with me cuz it was so unusual to hear. "Wow. Lego doesn't even own one of every figure they've produced??"
@@scotch5506 Great question! This display was placed away from the LEGO booth. It did have official looking LEGO fonts, logos and images. I asked the people around and they did not know. Didn't have a chance to walk to the LEGO booth to ask them. I wish I did. I am really curious too.
You are correct. I corrected some of the mistakes with the new updated version of this video but still missed a few. I plan to remake this after more LEGO airplanes come out and make the changes as you mentioned. Thank you for this!
I agree with the number one spot. Normally I never buy two of the same Lego set. But after my trip to Singapore, it was either the Titanic or Concorde, I wanted a cool Lego plane. The titanic turned out to be way too heavy and the choice fell upon Concorde. Normally I prefer direct flights home but I couldn’t miss out for an opportunity to fly with the Airbus A380. After my transit in Heathrow I saw this gorgeous plane sitting at the runway and it was love at first sight. Yup, I bought another Lego Concorde. 🥰 The gorgeous plane I mentioned earlier is of course Concorde. 🤗🥰😎👍🏽💪🏽
Yes! Awesome! Great story and I 100% support you on your decision. The Concorde is on my list as one of the best LEGO sets ever. I think this set is a future collectable. Great choice in picking up two.
Yes! I love the Mommoth Stomper! I based the ranking on percentage of annual price increase from data on brickeconomy.com. It had a 5.6% annual growth and just missed the cut off. I don't know why it was low. I agree with you. It is a great set.
@TopLEGO2023 I think the price increase is based on the rarity of the sets, the mammoth stomper has been sold a lot, the croc swamp hideout has barely been sold.
@@747Kevin_Official I am a big fan of LEGO and aviation. I try to get all modern LEGO airplanes. I have some vintage ones from my own collection but will purchase from eBay if it is complete and clean. I have more sets to build and post, but have been really busy recently. I have my next one set aside to build soon. I Thank you for watching!
I have never been a fan of most of the planes that Lego makes, as they use 4 or 5 pieces to make the entire thing, it doesn’t feel like Lego because of the lack of normal pieces and the amount of specialized pieces used in them.
I know exactly what you mean. Your comment reminded me of LEGO Avatar set 75579. The large whale head is so specialized that it can not be used with anything else. There are some LEGO airplane sets that have a more tradition build. Me ost are in the Creator 3:1 sets like 31011 or 31039. I can’t wait for their new version
Yes! The airport fire truck! I am a huge LEGO airport/airplane set fan. That fire truck would go great with my set 7893. I wish I had it. 2014 had some great city sets.
Great question! Struggled with this myself. Now I know to keep away from UV light. No direct or indirect sun exposure. I build my sets, display them, then break them down and store them in the dark. I cycle through and bring out old sets to rebuild, display and store again. Hope this helps.
@@TopLEGO2023 but the plane won’t break I love youre channel! Btw I will try to make vids when I get it cause I’m still to young to record on youtube:)
Hi John, I have had this set for a long time. I am planning to post more of my airplane sets. According to Brickeconomy, this set sold originally for $39.99 in 2006. A new one in unopenned box now costs around $320. An openned set with damaged box costs around $100-$120. Hope this helps.
I know! The LEGO airport sets have always been popular. I am always excited when I hear a new airplane set is planned for release. I get it new because I know it will be more expensive later.
