From Kassandras time to Ezios, I would gladly fight along side the Hidden Ones and Assassins. But ever since Haytham came around, it became fuzzy. Then Shay came along and helped me even things out. At this point in time, I am with the Templars. Order, purpose and direction is what should hold a community together. Discipline and control are not only needed but absolutely necessary to keep chaos and discord at bay. The Order of Ancients and the Templars before Governor Torres needed to be taken care of because most of them didn't hold to these values correctly. I say most because Templars like Robert de Sable, Ahmet and Jaques de Molay are the few Templars before Torres that actually done things Templars are supposed to do. But I would still fight along side Altair and Ezio. Maybe not the medieval assassin at the beginning of Unity because the Templar Order was betrayed by King Louis. Whatever the case, I proudly side with the Templars today. May the Father of Understanding guide us.
Most unpopular opinion: there was absolutely nothing wrong with the movie except for the toxic fanbase ignorant of what an Assassin truly is as well as non-gamers having a pessimistic viewpoint of “video game movies”…
