It took almost 20 years to release a monster card that can simply resume what this monster was back in the original anime now we need a card with the name Galaxy Crusher !!
Base on the effect Seal of Orichalcos It's gives you an additional monster slot by using your sp/trap. When you summon on your sp/trap row, those monster can't be attack since you have to get rid of the front row monster first before attacking the rear
Ok so here’s my confusion, Stronberg says that the opponent has to discard half his deck to keep it on the field, sooooo why did Yugi comply? Couldn’t he just say “nah bro I ain’t doing that” and boom the castle is destroyed?
No, it is a mandatory effect. The real card in the tcg requires you to banish the top 10 cards of your deck each turn to keep it up, you don't get a choice either.
@@wolflord9455 Here is the actual text: Once per turn, during your Standby Phase, you must banish 10 cards from the top of your Deck face-down (this is not optional), or this card is destroyed So if you have 10 or more cards in your deck still you MUST banish 10 each turn. There is no choice or refusal. Online emulaters dont give you an option to, it does it automatically. If you have less then 10 the card is destroyed. The card is mainly used in gren maju decks that try to banish as many of thier cards as possible to summon a high attack gren maju and attack winning you the game.
Zigfried hack into kaiba's corp dueling system and programm the card to automoaticlly discard half of the opponent deck into gravyard. Yugi maybe hold magic but he can't beat programming

Dragon Master Knight was later not only able to overpower Zorc, but its blast was seen from outer space as an orb of light in the Earth. The fusion of Yugi and Kaiba's ace monsters is extremely powerful, sadly, it's really hard to pull out, and in the modern game isn't worth it. However, Dragon Master Magia, a retrain, is soon to arrive in West.
@@haiku230 It delivered such a blast it destroyed itself, but didn't manage to defeat Zorc, I'd count it as a victory for Zorc as it was the survivor, but since it wasn't his attack which destroyed Dragon Master Knight, and Zorc wasn't shown to launch attacks that powerful, I'm not sure if I should.
Royal Straight Slasher should have been released in King's Court, but at least it arrived in Battles of Legend: Crystal's Revenge. It was given a better effect: it can bring back the three knights if it's destroyed by battle, also it allows you to send monsters from your hand as well in order to activate its effect.
It's cool how Kaiba and Yami just wanted to end the duel as fast as possible, they knew Dartz wasn't an ordinary duelist or human and having the duel drag out, like it does after, was only going to favor him.
They had the right idea, but they still weren't ready for Kyutora and its damage-eating effect. That 500 LP investment Dartz put into it paid off so well, it's ridiculous.
@@cameraredeye3115 true, and worse is with the Seal up, Dartz kept it safe by having it as a back row monster so Yugi and Kaiba weren't able to destroy it until Mirror Force Dragon did, but by then Dartz had what he needed
the only way i can see Orichalcos Gigas being printed or even any of Dartz's monsters is if they are all tied to the Seal itself. example: Gigas's effect of self-reviving and gaining atk always stacks in the show. but IRL it wouldn't be able to stack it's effect unless worded in a way where it can be, but doing so sort of makes the card a little broke. so a work around would be to have its effect be that giga's self-revive only works when the seal is on the field zone and every time it revives it places a counter on the seal and it's atk gaining effect would apply giving it 500ATK for each counter, this way it reflects the situation that always happened in the anime where it got stronger, self revived, and could loop the effect, but only once the seal is up.
Dartz’s cards would simply need to be “Orichalcos” exclusive. That said, in my opinion, they are supposed to be broken and strong as hell. I mean in the original anime, he is the most ridiculous antagonist by far. Gigas, easy to print in the TCG: Orichalcos Gigas ATK/400 DEF/ 1500 If this card is destroyed while you control an “Orichalcos” Field Spell, you can Special Summon it immediately. Each time this card is Special Summoned by its own effect, place 1 counter on it. This card gains 500 ATK for each counter it has. If this card is Special Summoned by its own effect during your opponent’s turn, skip your next draw phase.
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh this works, but putting the counter on the seal itself would make more sense because once gigas is destroyed it loses those counters so it can't stack it's atk, plus the counters could also be used as protection on the seal itself. ex: each Oricalchos card has a built in effect that reads: "Face up Oricalchos Field Spells cannot be destroyed by your opponents card effects while they have an Oricalchos counter on it" this allows it to have the destruction immunity it had in the anime and not just the once a turn protection it has
@@ShanaReviews Makes sense, but not if you include this simple statement: “Counters remain on this card if it is destroyed”. As for protection of Seal, there is still room for Deuteros and Tritos to give anime level effects and making up for the pathetic TCG first layer. Essentially with each layer, amp up its protection. Seal (what we have): OPT destruction immunity. Deuteros: Permanent destruction immunity. Tritos: Complete immunity (unaffected).
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh the first effect wouldn't work with the games mechanics, plus the act of putting counters would help to balance the effects in the real game. also you can't give it complete immunity because the legendary knights banish spells, which was specifically made to counter the seals 1 time protection and they still banished it in the anime even though Dartz had Tritos up. so you can't give it immunity, just make it immune to being destroyed only.
@@ShanaReviews Well, if that’s the case then it’s best to leave them unprinted. Seals were immune to everything except Anime Legend of Heart. There is no point making these cards and giving them mediocre protection that is no longer strong in the actual card game, or have their effects resemble nothing that they did in the show. The 2nd and 3rd layers need permanent targeting and destruction immunity at the very least, anything less and there is no point. Like I said, his cards are supposed to be OP. Additionally you don’t need to deal with any counter nonsense. If programs like EdoPro/YGOPRO can replicate Gigas’s effect, then you bet it could work in the real game.
That worried look Tea gave Kaiba during the turn he drew polymerization was pretty hilarious to me; It was like she was saying "Ummm.....thats creepy".
