I just got this in October 2024 and the instruction manual pouch included 2 small adhesive pads, about 1.5" x 2" each. I don't see anything in the instruction manual about what these are for. Any ideas?
Bolt #4 at the top is almost impossible to put in with a washer as there is no space to fit a finger! Either he's got delicate little fingers or somethings changed since this video
I have this trainer. Several issues with it. The length of the cable is too short causing the adjustment screw to be only threaded into the anchor point by only a few threads with very little adjustability for cable tension. This in turn created excess cable tension on the cable and makes the pin very difficult to engage, and vertical travel of the handle pulleys difficult. Even to the point I had to push on the lift pulley so it would go in. Had to place a 3/4" spacer under the plate stack so it could be adjusted properly. The edges of the adjustable pulley for the handles is sharp and cuts into the plastic ball when weights are returned to the stack. Several cosmetic issues with paint scratched and pulleys damaged. Chinese mfg and quality control not well managed.
Is there any information on connecting the functional trainer to the manticore (as shown in the video)? I believe they are different hole sizes, so there would need to be a conversion at some point. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
This video is better than your previous ones, but still pretty terrible, to be honest. Good product, but truly embarrassing execution on all instructions both paper and video. And not for nothing, if this video is supposed to be updated and better, why not delete the old ones?
@@bpgaming7013 Interesting, I’ve always just done a conventional deadlift. It just seems so clunky and restrictive doing it inside of a power rack, but maybe I should try it.
Great piece of equipment-assembly instructions still leave a lot to be desired tho. Bolts are number differently than this video but helped to have this vid to go along with the sheet.
Interesting idea but the handle width on the lever arms leaves a lot to be desired. I’d be interested in stripped down version of the treadmill itself and I’ll stick to doing the loaded movement patterns in my power rack. Doing a couple of things really well is far more valuable to home gym than doing a middling job of a dozen…
I bought this machine 3 months ago. I have a basement with a short ceiling and this was the only functional trainer that was short enough to fit. It is complete durable, stable, and well designed. NOT ONLY is it a functional trainer, the fact that I can use a straight bar for bench and squats makes this one-of-one in the market based on it's smaller size and affordability. Does not take up a lot of space. I would recommend this to anyone
I’ve got the utility bar and it’s great. Knurling is just perfect for a novice like me. Grips really well without hurting the hands. Black zinc looks good. Coating will wear if racked on metal J-cups but personally doesn’t bother me. It’s a training tool not a decoration piece.
In one clip, Bruce is using what looks like the Y Dip Bar attachment as a sort of triceps pushdown extension. How does that function work? Is it a special B.o.S. Y dip bar attahment?
Can we use anything weight plate or is it size issue to buy plate for dead lift rod Can we buy any size of plates the hole between the plate is same in every plate or is it depending on rod
