I don’t know if anybody else picked up on this, but I noticed a difference in the Rachel’s voices. The one that starts has a more crisp and firm Voice, almost jaded. The one that joins in is a much softer season one Rachel. Their voices are different. And then the old Rachel is wearing white and the new Rachel is wearing black. It’s like she’s “Dark Rachel”. Their voices are different though. Anyone else notice?? So cool.
When I listened to this song I felt really connected because I’m a little self conscious about my body and it made me remind myself that I’m perfect the way I am.
She really matured over the seasons! She went from a self-absorbed brat to a mature young woman and it’s amazing to see. She is so talented and she’s awesome! The only person she can do a duet with and make it sound really good is herself. (“Be ok” with her and Santana was really good to though!)
2:05 Is this note sung in Natalie Imbruglia's version as well? I always thought it was a guitar! I don't know how you can sing like that, it's amazing! I'm going to look it up now.
i agree w everyone that lea’s performance was stunning, but i also have to mention the mastery of the editing of these scenes. it was so brilliant how they cut back and forth between the rachels. anyone could’ve thought of the idea but the execution was beautiful.
