Dude I just saw you driving down bell st hahahaha you drove past me I recognised ur ute, weird thing too it was my first proper day framing and I’ve watched a few videos prior and it helped me heaps today, still can’t get over that ahahahahaha
Correct me if I’m wrong but I looks like you almost didn’t need that pitching plate. The rafters seem to fall over a stud. Did well to get that done on your own mate
Cool vid, as a non-builder I'm impressed that there's a nailgun that can drive nails into the foundation, but also that the walls are just held up by a few nails. Would have expected some larger bolts or something?
would be awesome to see some more in-depth videos on things like reading plans for cut on site stick framing and just see general stuff you have learnt outside of Tafe also love watching the content from both you and Dave does carpentry
Hey mate, I watched your video on non-carpentry skills. I'm gonna be doing the Building and Construction pre-ap next year, would it also be worth doing a cert II in civil construction so I can show potential employers that I've got some experience with concreting and excavating? Or would that be, like you said, better learnt on-site? Cheers, your videos are top notch and have been really helpful so far.
