Im a farmer for four years who lives in arkansas, and i go to four different markets twice a month. I started crocheting 3-4 months ago. And began selling plushies a month ago. And it went well. My best seller is cucumbers for sure. I want to crochet veggies with faces and animals that live in arkansas. I use acryic yarn. Today i finished my first granny square bucket hat. I love it. Thanks for making this video, i gave it a like. ❤
I can't display my yarn like that because I live in the desert. I do have one under the bed bag full of yarn that is hanging on a door hook but propped up on up of a trunk . You can see the yarn but it's now nice and organized like yours. 😊 Desert life ain't easy with yarn.
Awesome tutorial! I chuckled when you said a year ago. I’ve made several and they are waiting for linings as well. I have everything but was second guessing myself doing it!😂 and it’s been a year for me as well! TFS ~Phyllis
I love the colors.❤ My temp blanket is using a different stitch every month. I'm newish to crochet and want to learn a new stitch every month. I also use the high temperature but every other day. A really good YT channel for weather is @Ryan Hall Y'all. I was born and raised in SoCal, but moved to East TN in 2015.
Looove this kind of content and congrats on first video, it’s so good! One thing for feedback is consistency with how high/low the sound is;) I found it to be kinda low during the whole video, which wouldn’t be a problem, but then the ads in between gets so loud😅 also the end music was a bit loud then, other then that I’ll definitely keep up with you and your content, you seem so lovely!❤
a creator who responds to comments <3 i finished a commission while watching this video. my plans for this year are also to start a crochet business, i'm actually taking an online course right now on marketing and content creation so maybe that will give me a boost i need for success :> i didn't really consider youtube to be a big part of it for me but now i kind of want to sit and chat a bit and crochet and kinda do what you do! entering your adulthood can be really stressful and i understand your struggles with the job you talked about, im working in the gaming industry and its really unstable this time of year so i basically dont have a schedule at all right now... but that gives me time to work on crochet stuff ;w; so i try to look on the bright side of things. anyway, i wish you luck on your market search!
Oh that is so exciting that you're starting a crochet business! It's a lot of fun 😄 You should definitely get into RU-vid if you like making content! It's one of my favorite parts of the business 😂 Best of luck to your business ventures, I am rooting for you! 🥳
I want my crochet to be a full time job as well. I hope we can both do that! I'm in my 20s about to graduate and be a teacher, but crochet is my passion. And yes I've seen Meet the Robinsons!
Thanks for watching! And yes, my blanket has gotten so big! I wasn't expecting that so quick 😅 My chair is from IKEA! It's a super old model, I can't remember the name of it. But I did use parts of my old mattress topper to make the cushions even more comfy 😋
Laoise is actually an Irish name and would be pronounced Lee-sha :) It looks amazing though! Yes, it does have that acrylic stiffness, but I think it looks perfectly cozy and cute anyways, and the stitch pattern is lovely.
Love to see someone else doing monthly temperature blanket updates, and I just love to watch your craft fair videos, and all sorts of videos on temperature blankets! ❤
I am working on a knitted temperature blanket, I love how it’s turning out, and I know it;s not a common thing to do. With makes me even more excited to work on it!
I have found your Channel just few days ago and i really enjoy hearing you while knitting and crocheting, and i have already finished all your videos so please keep uploading more frequently
ive found that doing the ASL alphabet is a good warm up for me. it has wrist movement (J and Z) and a bunch of different handshapes. will def follow along though
how do you spot resellers, especially those who buy cheaply from say temu and resell as their own? i wouldn't want to give my money to people like that when i go browse at a market
also i feel like you dont have to be so concerned about being ~unique~, this market is kinda exceptionally bad and not really worth re-evaluating yourself over
Most of the time, reseller's prices are SUPER low. Like one a couple bucks for a crochet plushie. Perhaps I can make a video on how to spot them once market season picks back up again! Thank you for your kind reminder, this market really did make me question what I've been working on, but you're right! This market was not really meant for me.
I use a SumUp card reader! It’s the BEST card reader ever and has a great inventory system as well. The referral link to the exact card reader I have is in the description 🙌🏼
