@@linusbnk This should apply to all W219s. At least CLS500/550/55. Even without the steering wheel buttons. I never tried that with my previous CLS350 with 7G-tronic, where it could have actually been useful. But it sure works with my CLS 55, even though there's little use for it usually :D "Press and hold the gear selector lever in the D- direction. The transmission will automatically select the gear range suited for optimal acceleration and deceleration. This will involve shifting down one or more gears."
