24:19 this usually (atleast in Bourgas or close) is called Bayganetti. Kashkaval Pane is usually cut in big triangle shapes and you get to taste more of the Kashkaval than the dough.

I don’t believe you ate all that. Maybe you are advertising but to eat that is impossible. I am Romanian and I know what you are showing. No imposible you would eat all that unless you took a spoon from everything

Did you spend anytime stopping on the drive at random places and checking local things out or just go the whole 2+ hours straight?

Love the video ❤❤❤ all foreigners are very reluctant to drink the brown drink called "Boza" so well done. Funny thing about it is that you could test positive if the cops stop and breathalyze you, so don't go too crazy on it LOL

Guys, the MISH-MASH is actualy baked SHOPSKA SALAD, only with added CHUBRITZA spice. And the added meat on the top is not traditional. The traditional is pan fried, not baked as you tryed. So this is my advice to you: next time, find some Bulgarians to take you around the villages and towns in different regions of Bulgaria, but to people's homes, so you can try the original homemade dishes. This way you will be able to meet genuine Bulgarians and touch the real hidden treasures of Bulgaria. Great video. Thank you!

Bro next time you come to BG, don’t go to Sofia for food maan. You cant talk about quality of the food in the capital. You go to some village near Sofia and ask the first granny you see on the street for banica, mekica, musaka or salad with homemade vegetables then you will see the beauty of our food and nature. If you are lucky granny’s husband will give you rakija to try haha. Cheers!

Our president just promoted a law that removes the bears from a protected species law and pays up people for killing them. In the communism period there was a similar law, but for killing crows. You get a certain amount of money for each bear killed. The law passed faster than COVID laws, it took under 24 hours for it to be official. They motivated that Romania has a problem with overpopulation of bears. Since that law passed (1-2 weeks ago), already foreigners organise bear killing squads/parties for trophy's. Of course, they are not killing the bears that get inside cities, for which the law was being motivated as having a sense. They do bear killing parties in the deep mountains. Cheers to Iohannis and to the corruption of Romania! 🥰(at least 20% of the Romanian Parliament have hunters permits).

Regarding tribe soup however or it is not good chef. Garlic must be mixed with red vinegar. There is legend "The sultan palace was across a tavern. The aroma from tribe soup traveled true the air. The sultan sent his shef to check what is secret to the good smell of the soup. Shef reported that tavern did not clean the tribe very well, as they do in palace kitchen"😂

I love you guys. Thank you for the reviews. There is some misconception. Mish Mash is strictly vegetarian. NO meat. Musaka is turkish creation. Can be with potatoes or egg plant. Balkans were 500 years under aotoman empire. Greeks have many claims over food, but they have no true ones. They clam that shish kabab is greek food.❤ Sopska salad is one of the best in the world. The ones tourist try it they fell in love with it. Baniza has two versions. Baniza and Burek. Yogurt is the best for both. Try water bufalo yogurt, is better than ice cream. ❤

What a nice review and presentation of our traditional street food (although influenced by this and that). As a true Bulgarian I am usually having Italian dishes, recently I experiment with Indian and East Asian food, however your video made me crave for bánitza and kebapche. Thank you so much for the wonderful video! I hope you visit again and explore more.
