My kids are in PR and they want t go to the bioluminicent beach cooul you recommend us someone or anybody that will take them there i understamd the view is in kayaks I have been in fajardo . Another great video that brought back memories 😊 Spent a lot of time in Bayamón over the years, when visiting family in Naranjito. It’s nice to see the resurgence of El Canton Mall, I remember it being dark and empty. We would usually go to Plaza del Sol or Rio Hondo. Thanks again for the trip down memory lane 👏 🇵🇷

La epoca de oro de la Gautier Benitez fueron los 70s y parte de los 80 ya en los 90 estaba en seria decadencia y despues del 2000 el desastre total. La conozco desde mi infancia mi padre tuvo negocio ahi desde el 70 hasta los 90 cuando no era paseo era una calle transitable. EL Paseo basicamente lo hicieron a principio de los 90 cuando empezo a decaer todo. En los 70 era imposible conseguir local para alquilar porque eran minas de oro hacian muchisimo dinero eso duro hasta los 80 ya en los 90 empezo a cambiar. Yo corria esas calles de nino en los 70 y adolescente en los 80 y me da tristeza porque recuerdo a mis padres . Muchos culpan a los mall pero los mall ya murieron tambien hay cientos abandonados y quizas el online shopping pero eso no estaba fuerte en los 90 o en el 2000, en Caguas habia factorias en esa epoca que hace mucho se fueron. En mi opinion una de las causas principales de todo esto es la desaparicion masiva de la clase media. Espero que esta informacion de la Gautier Benitez le sirva para que conozcan la historia de lo que antes fue.
Gracias por la Info yo tabaje tambien ahi y si estaba muy lleno ahora da pena el lugar. Los Malls de Caguas ambos fueron restaurados y estan llenos de tiendas y restaurantes.

My father Vicente Maldonado Martinez, was the head carpenter of that building back in late 80s to early 90s. Purcell Construction was the company that remodeled, and many other buildings at downtown Ponce; including the lion's fountain, where I my self work and paint the lion's. Love my Town Ponce 🎉🥳
