Subscribe to the channel for videos about metal detecting gold nuggets in Central Queensland Australia . We use Minelab metal detectors like GPZ 7000, GPX 6000, GPX 5000, SDC 2300 Manticore and Equinox 800. We’ll test detectors with gold nuggets as well as looking for gold in the gold fields in the central Queensland area, product reviews, tips and tricks to help put us on to the gold. And we’ll find relics and other interesting things along the way. Subscribers give aways! If you would like to send items to the channel, mail, parcels, products, etc please send them here;
I did read a test was done as below Yesterday three of us decided to test the GPX6000 with 11 inch mono, 14 inch DD and 17 inch mono and GPZ7000 with 14 inch stock coil at a local test site that has targets in situ for a number of years. We were particularly interested in the deepest target that was buried at 400mm (about 16 inches) representing a large deep nugget. The 7000 could not detect it in difficult setting only in normal setting - i was told by the owner of the 7000 that normal is not his preferred setting. The 6000 could not detect this deep target with the 11 inch and even the 17 inch (we tried all settings) - but get this - the 14 inch DD with EMI cancel on could hear it as good as (if not better) than the 7000 in normal mode . We were not expecting this result.
Great video nice finds try switching from difficult ground to normal ground to confirm iffy signals will produce better signal then switch back for hunting
Jenko really like this video, do you think that the 11" Mono with the 6000 goes deeper than the 14" DD as a rule? And I guess my next question is do you have the 17" and can you do a video with all 3 coils at all?
There is lots of good RU-vid videos on the pinpoint I had to learn it lololol and good when you do nice nugget see still get ground noises after the nugget
Good video and the pinpoint you have is excellent and I love mine but very very sensitive and in gold fields you ground balance them put on the ground and push power button quick and done and if noise again do it again
@@jenkosgoldadventures you do know that it has 3 sensitivity levels and when it gets noisy, you can put it at the target ground Balance get quiet then ground Balance again. It gets quieter ground Balance again and it’ll only beep when on target on target. You can very easily tune it and 3 sound leaves and more
Long time, no videos mate. I luv my NF 12x7 I have found good gold at depth but also in heavy vegetation where the 11" round wouldn't fit. 300mm for a 2 gramer is a far effort though.
Just subbed geez you have patience, i looked at gpz7000 video's about 3 years ago and thought theses are to bloody noisy , they haven't changed my wife and kids are quieter. So would a 20 inch mono coil be the go for deeper , bigger gold. Yep minelab over rated this machine yes it's good but the controllers ears have to be on the money listening wise.
Those I have one and you need to ground balance it in the hole put in hole on ground where noise and just push power button quick and it shut up until you hit the target really expensive but good
Yes. The noise you had was there with no movement (EMI) hence why it got louder when you turned up the sensitivity with the coil stationary and did not get worse with movement, you were trying to ground balance emi, which will never work. I hope that helps you.
Positive: covers a lot more ground. Negative: heavy Big, needs a clear area that’s relatively flat. Depth range is only a inch or so compared to the gpz14
