ALTIQ is Australia's leading high performance automotive lighting brand. Designed in Melbourne To Explore New Worlds, we push the boundary of innovation with unparalleld performance.
I reckon the Rogue MKE lights are better, as the centre light wont cause stress on your eyes to see in the distance, but then its a video unless I see it in my own car once I fit the Rogue MK3 kit on my Hilux tomorrow then ill choose if I need the covers on em or not. But the build of the lights are insane and are solid.
Probably should not solder in automotive applications due to vibration breakage over the long term. Instead, direct crimp a DT connector on the factory aux wire for proper termination and factory look.
He’s done it correct mate, those wires are from the relay which is connected to battery and aux switch, also if you look at your owners manual in the infotainment system it will give you all the info about it like wiring location/colours/ amp ratings and relay locations 👍
Yes, it is best practice to disconnect the battery when disconnecting any factory electrical sockets. If the ignition is on/computer is on, components like the camera may need a recalibration.
Hey Joe, we ship to USA and have some details on USA spec'd Rangers. If you could email us sales@altiq.com.au Attention Jake, I would love to chat further with you about this solution and upcoming Ranger Raptor products we're designing.
Hey Huskydog78, do you mean adjusting output angle? Depending how hard you torqued the bolts, you can often get a small amount of tilt through the grille for finer adjustments and the stiction of the bolts will leave it in that position permanently. This is a highly flood bias light bar, so the adjustment is not micro like our spot lights. Pro tip: Measure the height of the light bar from the ground Shine the light to a wall 10 + meters away on level ground. If the output hot spot height is higher than the light bar, it's angled up, look for a similar height. -Jake
Received the lights today, WOW the quality is fantastic, but come on guys, how did the protective cover attachment pass QA this is a real let down, three miniscule 8mm clips with a 1mm locking tooth !! these are so weak the cover just falls off with the slightest pressure from one finger, this will not last on a corrugated road and is guaranteed to fall off, beautifully made lights, fail on the protective covers.
Hey Legend, thank you for your detailed feedback and glad you're enjoying your new Rogue MK3s! We balanced ergonomics and minimal mass for an effortless clip on cover design which achieves DRL visibility with covers fitted. We are currently designing a "RALLY" version which is over 10x more rigid for the harshest conditions. Available late December, should you have any issues with corrugation roads, please email us and we will upgrade you to a Rally cover set :) sales@supernovalighting.com.au
Hi Walsh, Many brands overly enhance their output shots, with 5000+ 5 Star reviews, we try our best to show the real world output and find we hit the mark. This output is Commander light bar only - please note, the 42" Commander is our second highest output light bar of over 20 models, so it will naturally be impressive. Smaller sizes such as 12" and 22" do not have the same power or distance.
exactly the comparison i wanted to see. adding the horizon covers to the infinite 8.5 gives you options. i feel it lights up the sides of the roads to see any potential animal impacts that regional Australian highway driving exposes you too. i also like the seamlessness of the flood coverage on the Rogues.
Hey Legend, We actually released a Hrozion flood cover in our selective yellow recently! Utilising the same optical profile as the Horizon cover, we had to test over a dozen different thermoplastic colour dyes and combinations to achieve the correct colour temperature (in combination with the Osram chips these lights ship with). Our staff pick - one clear, one amber horizon cover for the ultimate - all rounder! supernovalighting.com.au/products/horizon-flood-cover
@@altiqau Cool, when I called customer service sometime after I ordered the clear flood covers, I had request this. Also part of that request was amber covers for the light bars. Hope you have that also in pipeline. 😊
The Hybrids were a better light than the new Infinite with the covers, shame you discontinued a perfectly good light out of the box, for a inferior light that has too much emphasis on SPOT rather than spread, even with the Horizon covers.
Patience is a virtue. Make sure you follow our socials for near future updates. The Infinite has far better power handling, better colour rendering and more optic modification. The Horizon cover was one beam modifying solution which was loved by many but end user feedback from some shows desire for even more flood again! We agree, the Hybrid was great, the 150-180º coverage was unmatched and we have not lost sight of this value. In the end, different light characteristics for different conditions.... We're a step closer to a multi functional solution for all conditions. Stay tuned.
Great question! The R20 factory xenon headlights have limited lumen output and are quite narrow. Whilst the AFS module allows for "bend lighting' feature, it is still not that comprehensive. These headlights provide wider flood coverage without the movement (arguably less distracting through mountain runs) Far greater distance and lumen output.
Would be great if you guys made some motorcycle specific upgrade packs, lots of bikes take one bulb for low beam and a different single bulb for high beam. Buying two of each bulb is not very economical. Also why doesn't anyone make a decent T10 LED in red?
I bought a pair of these recently and I was blown away once I tried them out. The distance the light is thrown is unreal and the wide beam spread also light's up every thing in the hedges and woodland to the sides of the vehicle. If you've got a 4x4 get these lights on it. 👍
