i didn't get super man, ninja, riddlers revenge, wonder woman, batman, lldod credit . granted i was only there 1 day and really bummed about it cause i won't have another chance to get out to California. 388 wow, im 37yrs old and only at 85 credits, i envy folks like that. but good thing is is that i have lots more new coasters to ride and appreciate everyone of them, instead of busting them all out at once. i got my x2 credit April 21st 2024. it beat up my calfs and i was expecting a better drop
we had the same experience on X2. It didn't thrill me but left me with a decent bruise. I didn't start my coaster journey until I was 44 so you are way younger than I am. I am lucky to live in the Northeast and have a lot of small parks to build up my count (currently at 388). I know my window is smaller than most but if I can get to 500 before my body tells me to quit that is a win. Thanks for watching and sharing
@@125RollerCoaster im in the north east as well about an hour from cedar point. i just don't have the luxury to go to alot of parks, i went to kennywood, ki, and Hershey park for the first time last year. but looks like it's just cedar point for the rest of the year
@dennmod24 your "home park" is most people's dream park. I am hoping to add Cedar Point to our 2024 schedule but once Top Thrill 2 went down, it dropped as a priority
@@125RollerCoaster yeah i don't blame you, i rode TT2 3 times and it's awesome, i hope it opens up so you can ride it. ive ridden all the cedar points coasters over 100's of times i need more variety ya know, that's why i was blessed to of been able to go to magic mountain and knotts even if it was just for 1 day, they were definitely a night i won't ever forget
It looked like Superman was a "seasonal" issue like Top Thrill 2 at Cedar Point, like I said in the video, wasn't excited for that coaster so I was good with that being down. Another Kingda Ka for me (one trick pony). Thanks for watching and commenting
@@125RollerCoaster it was running in April this year i waited in line for 35 min in the heat and was barely moving so we left. i regret it now. but glad i was able to get 2 rides on Xcelerator at knotts
Have to disagree with the Minor modification to Steel Force, it reclaimed it's number 1 spot. Talon still is top tier at #2 at Dorney. And it's, Talon, is still superior to Great Bear.
Steel Force did move up our rankings a lot with the change but there is just something about Talon that keeps it #1 in our books. Thanks for watching and sharing
Well thanks for watching and we have a lot of Clementon Park content so make sure you check out our playlist on the park and consider subscribing if you enjoy what we do.
I used to work at Clementon park as a teenager. It's so much different then when I worked there. The taco stand used to be the cotton candy stand. The fry and grill stand used to be The Terrace. The funnel cake and ice cream stand was always the funnel cake and ice cream stand. They took out the pizza stand.
Thanks for watching and letting us know about this park's past. We went about 10 years ago for the first time and then every year since it's rebirth Always great to hear about it's history and more Clementon Park videos coming soon
I love wood coasters and i am usually against rmc. But hell cat is so increadibly rough and it isnt even a proper wood coaster its mostly steel. Gene staples needs to stop dumping money into trying to fix it and instead needs to give the park a proper headline attraction. Coasters with hard turns like hell cat tare them selves appart when they use ptc trains. They have a wide wheel base and maneuver poorly. When they go arround hard turns they damage the track. At the very least they need to get a millenium flyer train for it. Then send the ptc train to niagara to use on silver commet. But the best thing for the park would be having rmc redo it.
Thanks for your thoughts. The cost of RMC would be too much for this park to invest right now. It would be nice but can't see the budget working. Thanks for watching
A wolf in sheep's clothing, purchasing the park to strip it clean of its assets, sell them off for a profit, and then likely redevelop the lakefront property into high end housing & etc And why isn't there some kind of landmark protection or zoning law for the park land in order to prevent this? Why wasn't Blue Streak itself declared a landmark? The ride dated back to the 30's! This same scenario almost took place in NYC's Coney Island, until the people voiced their outrage and new zoning laws for entertainment purposes only were enacted for the fabled beach front amusement area. As well as landmark status for certain rides & concessions (Cyclone, Wonder Wheel, Parachute Jump, Nathan's Famous, etc) there, some dating back to the 20's! The city then signed a deal with Italian ride manufacturer "ZAMPERLA" who took over operations of the amusement grounds and brought in many of their rides and coasters in addition to the legacy attractions already there. This was so successful that the city gave them a new longer lease renewal to operate. Farewell Conneaut, it was a good run.
It all depended on who bought the property. Gene staples bought clementon, Martin's fantasy island and Indiana Beach and all are running and growing. Luck of the draw. Thanks for watching
Thanks for watching and sharing. It is an amazing addition to the park and love the new theming of Coyote Creek. Hope you had a great time at Six Flags America and more videos coming soon.
It will be any day. They have everything ready to go but was waiting for the state inspection. Check the website to see it's status and once it is good to go, we are heading back there again for an update
@@125RollerCoaster They have a history of rides actually falling during operation. 10 years ago the spider had an arm break and fell with kids on it while rotating. 25 years ago an enterprise ride lost power and lowered very fast and hit the loading platform. No one ever killed but sent to the hospital. It's hard to get parts for their old rides and having replacement parts custom made is very expensive.
I've ridden this ride a number of times over the years and seen plenty of changes to it. Knoebels is the park I grew up going to and even though ive visted a fair amount of other parks, i still rank them as one of the top amusement parks. There's just such a special vibe it has and you can take the whole family for a very affordable day or weekend of fun. The Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides there and always puts a smile on my face! Such a classic. Nice POV!
It must be a west coast thing cause since I did this video I went to Six Flags America, Hersheypark, Dorney Park, Niagara and Morey's Piers and none charged for tube's. SIX Flags Hurricane Harbor LA is still the only time I have seen this. Thanks for commenting and watching
We're moving to the area this summer. I've been watching all your Dorney Park videos. They're all so helpful and informative and very fair. You got a really nice way of doing these videos.
Wow!! First welcome to the area. We love Dorney Parj and have a lot more videos coming soon. The park is highly under rated and you will love it. Check out our Knoebels and Hersheypark videos because they are also in the area and thanks again for watching
@@125RollerCoaster We're very excited to have so many options. We're coming from Valley Fair as our home park, Dorney Park looks like it'll be a big step up.b
@@michiganwannarbor3255 Dorney Park is all about the water park and they are looking at expanding it more in 2025. Thanks for watching and you will love this water park
We went on a Tuesday in June which is usually the slowest day. We do that cause it is easier to do our Explore videos without crowds. We film the park and attractions. Not people. Thanks for watching
That was an awesome walk-through! I used to go to Kings Dominion almost every weekend throughout the early 90s into the early 2000s. So much nostalgia as you were walking through and seeing how much it's changed! I used to work in that arcade/game section near where shockwave was. What a fun first job. Thanks for what you do!
Thank you for the amazing comment and we are looking at getting back to Kings Dominion in the next week or two so consider subscribing if you want. I actually rode Shockwave before it closed. It was a rough one but I am glad I got the credit
Not worst, it was just mobbed. So many people I was shocked they could let more in. Also, Dorney has changed a lot since we started the 125. That first year we had line jumpers, now we haven't had an issue like that in five years. Both parks are solid and we haven't had a bad guest experience in years (fingers crossed we didn't Jinx ourselves) thanks for watching
