*Disclaimer: Circle H Scuba and Thomas Hughes believe you can not teach someone how to dive, nor certify them for diving, through the internet. Ensure you seek proper training through an instructor who is active and certified through a recognized agency and always dive within the limits of your certification.
im looking for easy equipment for scuba diving im not certified but I was intrested in the small tank 0.5L and i know you cant go past 33 ft with that cause it doubles in preasure and you can get decompresion sickness i know but i wouldent go past the 33ft mark and i think the tank only last up to 5 minutes.
@@CircleHScuba thanks for your honesty im probably gonna practice freediving then once im done with the basics and learned ill get a real scuba tank but there quite expensive
When you’re ready to scuba dive, not free dive, you’ll get certified on a standard aluminum 80 cu ft tank here in the US and the equivalent in metric if elsewhere. You wouldn’t normally buy a tank early on. Most people just rent them, and only divers who go very very often buy
Thank you very much for your video. I wasn't aware that the quarter turn was outdated. Just one comment: the pressure gauge danger isn't a myth. I have a seen a pressure gauge fly off a hose at a speed that would take someone's eye out or worse. Everyone should be careful when opening the tank.
Not sure if this is the best place to leave a personal request, but can you make a video on reefhook? I think I might need to use it this year, and I never use it before. I had seen some videos on youtube, but I just want to see your tips and tricks on it. Thanks a lot.
Maybe it’s because My left Frontal sinus is completely blocked that just swallowing without blocking my nose, works for me. Yeah sometimes it takes longer than others to get down, but it always 100% works for me..
I do 95% of the time I’d say. I’m also trained to be self reliant, and as an instructor in which I’m basically diving solo since uncertified students can’t be buddies or rescue me. This doesn’t mean diving without a buddy is safer, because it’s not. You should have a buddy. Sometimes solo diving is what I have to do though (both from teaching a class or for my own fun/escape that diving gives). It’s actually a highly debated topic in the diving community imo. For this dive, I didn’t exceed 40 feet iirc, it was in a lake so I don’t have to worry about getting lost at sea, minimal hazards, and I dive it extremely regularly because this is where I certify students too. These factors, to me, lower the risk (though don’t eliminate the risk) factor. Regardless, good callout, and I do think diving with a buddy is better.
I pretty much reply to everyone on every video 😅 Idk why RU-vidrs don’t. Eventually it’ll get too crazy to reply to EVERYONE if I get hundreds of thousands of subs, but I’d still wanna reply to people lol.
I have been diving for 48 years and I have used both expensive and cheep masks over the years ... I have never ever scrubbed or burned a lens . Just use a drop or two of baby shampoo - rub it on the lens and the mask seal and a quick rinse in the water... My masks have never ever fogged up in 32 degree to 89 degree water . Most of those over price anti fog products are RAIN X and if you read the label - DON"T USE NEAR YOUR EYES !
To have never scrubbed or burned a mask is pretty insanely impressive. Any modern mask fogs with baby shampoo, commercial products, and spit because the manufacturers put a silicone protective coat they say to get off before use. That’s awesome you’ve had such luck!
@@CircleHScuba well then perhaps the Johnson baby shampoo is good enough to remove whatever film or coating they’re putting on the lenses because I have never had them fog up using it
I like the approach SSI have, you can either get the advanced and get a “demo” of 5 speciality, or directly get 5 full speciality and get it certified aumatically
Yes exactly. They hit a fresh water spring while drilling and it started filling the quarry. It was filling so fast the pumps couldn’t keep up and it would cost too much to maintain, so they abandoned it
@@CircleHScuba thanks cool I use to be real into the Titanic thx for telling me where is it at the USA I thought I would not be into your videos but you have some cool videos so I subbed God bless u stay safe and have fun❤️
Question - is the toothpaste or lighter trick something you do only once to remove a film which is on the mask when it is new? So that when the film is gone it is permanently gone? Or is it something you do everytime you go for a dive?
I dived many years and the easiest was spitting on the glass and rub it around cost nothing but saliva and never fogged up in 20 odd years, no need to haul anything with you but your saliva, smear over lens rinse off and away you go no misting ever.
I live in a place that only trains divers using drysuits, because the water is cold here 80% of the time. I have no intention of ever diving cold water or faffing with a drysuit. My intention is to get trained using a wetsuit where water is warmer and only dive locations where I need a 5mm suit max. Tenerife here I come 😃
This was a really intriguing dive. It felt like a fun treasure hunt, but it's unfortunate that other divers won't be able to experience what you did because some divers take "souvenirs."
