The Velvet Gloves channel is about women and their stories of resilience.
Many women have faced challenges, and shown the resilience to keep going. In the process, they have emerged stronger and more capable. We call these women ‘The Velvet Gloves’. They are really special, because they are Velvet Gloves with iron fists - women who have a strong inner core while having the characteristic feminine warmth and softness.
Through the channel we would bring untold stories of grit and determination. Each of these might not be a big success story per se, but has been a big leap for the sheForce in the story.
Our guests will share their unique journeys and insights, which would serve as inspiration to many more.

Sangeeta's interview was very honest and sincere. She was quite clear with her thoughts, experiences, and opinions. More women should come forward and share their lives. Well done, keep doing the good work, Sonali! 👍👍
Very inspiring story of Sangeeta, and a very well-done interview. The story about the passport office was particularly illuminating as a young India comes to terms with a legacy system that needs a major overhaul on so many different dimensions. But as Sangeeta rightly points out, the key is to keep cool and effect the changes gradually as a community, and by speaking up to those in power who can effect the much-needed changes!👍
Thank you. I always believed that activism may not be a solution for everything...Keeping cool and getting things done without following any wrong ways...
