I would have walked that whole thing with a weed. Wacker chopping it all down first before. I even thought of bringing my machine in that grass. But I have a 36 inch scag. That is my little beait would have chopped it down and did a good job. A bell driven one It. Has a nickname the Beast. It cuts whatever I want it to come but like I said, I would a weed whack that all down first then cut it and that person would have been charged at least $400. To $500.
I started with JJ trimmer racks. The steel is very thin and doesn’t last more than 4-5 years. I’ve had Trimmer Trap 3 rack for over 12 years, no problems! The steel is 3X as thick as JJ!
I will say this. Although I'm not a big fan of battery equipment. I like the idea of no vibration. I purchased the 525 last mark II. I think Husqvarna should of left the old style alone. This unit is heavy and harder to start. Heat comes out those vents. I'm not sure if I'll purchase another. I'm on the the fence with that battery 525 LST. But thanks for the information
Yea the original 525lst was the best trimmer ever made. then they fkd it up. But battery is def the way to go. to bad u dont live near me...id let u try them
I Stihl have one that I bought in 90 or 91. The only trouble that I have had is when I used to use Ethanol gas and it would mess up the carburetor. Since switching to premix, I have had no issues.
I used to be a orange trimmer person, all the orange brands! But once I found Kawasaki string trimmers I haven’t looked back! They don’t make them anymore tho is the shame!
I bought the 525LST on your recommendation last year, best trimmer I have ever owned. I question the ability of any electric trimmer to tackle tall weeds for an hour. The 525 does it without flinching. The 525 will be just as powerful in 20 years as it is today, but those batteries will be replaced multiple times at enormous cost in next 20 years. Lithium batteries decline not just by cycles but also by age. 50% of EV owners say they will be switching back to gas on their next vehicle. Once you live with lithium batteries, their limitations show up. Great for short use, but cannot survive long term hard use.
I am defintely considering making the leap. Just curious, how many batteries do you use in a day? Again, I realize there are different variables but if you weedeat a lot then I'd assume I would use less. All my yards are small residential anyway.
Yeah, no crews don't but we have to remember that a lot of crews aren't actually "professional". It's usually people that get rotated around and quit within less than a year or two. Their ROI is high because they find everything possible to maximize profit on even if it sacrifices quality. We run a lawn/landscaping company that's a 2/3 person operation and run mostly battery products now. I have enough batteries to run for almost 2 full days now without recharging lol
@robertfootball1 You are absolutely wrong, in every word, of that reply. You must not do this for a living. The sentence 'no one around me uses battery stuff' is the sign. Cuz if you owned and operated a business you would be to busy to know or worry about what others do. Who cares what they do? Make your life better by focusing on yourself. Be the trend setter. I was first using stand on around here and people said what ur saying to me now. Well now they are everywhere. Be a trend setter not a follower. Battery is superior in hand held equipment. If I'm wrong come back to your comment and let me know in 5 years
Don't forget to mention the plastic timing gears and cam followers with no bushings at the pivot point. There is also the problem with the sump bolts backing out, hitting the flywheel and breaking the block. I put a 16hp Vanguard (made by Daihatsu) in my z5000 weed mower. I agree with you about the stamped deck. I own machines with stamped deck and with fabricated deck.
I just got the 350iB leaf blower and the 320iL trimmer and I love them both I didn’t buy any of the commercial trimmers because I’m just doing my yard.and I bought the silver 0.95 trimmer line by Husqvarna.
I really like this new version of the rapid replace head. I bought one last fall when i purchased my 525lst mark II. The only fault i have with mine is it vibrates like crazy. Exterminator, have you noticed any unusual vibration from yours. It vibrates so bad, I switched it out for a speed feed 450. Much smoother operation. I wish the rapid replace was as smooth, but for whatever reason, mine isn't. I'm pretty sure its the cap on the bottom side of the head causing this.
So the SECRET is the ignat owners who DON'T read their owners manuals, OR who has NEVER looked at and read every stickers on their units..... BUT..... I will say they could of put such in a more visible location, on MY mower I took a Permanant Sharpie & wrote my part numbers in large font where I can see such. I've even removed the sticky blade I.D. from the blades & stuck it to my deck
I also use a paint marker and date the oil filter :) sad part is almost no one reads the manual for anything now days. youtube has pretty much replaced them lol
I do lawncare full time and I got a toro z master 2000 and I’m more impressed with my jd z530m with kawi I use it more and haven’t had any issues with it. I’ve had some things break on my toro. I think next time I got to replace a mower I’m getting another jd probably a r series in the 500
Rediculous waste of time. Get the marbles out of your brain and mouth. Your 8th grader stab at secret telling could've been more clearly shared in 4 minutes.
I dislike twist to load heads. I got arthritis in my hands and it hurts me. I like the husky t35 head. You can buy extra line spools for it and just throw an extra spool in your pocket if you got cargo pants or leave a couple in the truck
Hey mate great video, I got a question I have 3 shindaiwa t263xs I absolutely love them so much, great power to weight balance. However I love husky everything else I own is husky besides my stihl chainsaw, I don’t have a brand bias. However I need another snipper should I stick with what I know and love or get the 525 husky?
Want a good product with Husq. or Echo flip a coin, with Stihl there is no question, especially with the normal 2 year warranty and 4 year warranty if you buy Stihl's fuel on purchase of the unit. Does Echo or Husq. have a 4 year Warranty? I think NOT.
The Zt1 is the most substandard performing lawnmower on the market for zero turns. It will not grass even with the the shoot guard bungee corded up, the stock tires have difficulty even at 12° incline, you can jog faster than the mower, It misses grass and leaves Spriggs every 15 feet, etc. I had Tractor Supply buy it back just under 90 days because I was beyond disappointed. I agree on the Toro. The blade speed is 2-3k faster than Cub Cadet.
