@@catherinejohnson1426 it’s amazing there !. Will be putting up the full video in a few days and a few more shorts of the area, so keep your eyes peeled 😊
Thanks !, ha ha these things were what friends had said to me on Facebook when I said I was going to Albania. After looking at other people’s videos though it looked just fine. I had a really good time and is a great place to visit !
Ha ha I don’t live in London, I live in the countryside, nothing but cows and sheep round here. I had a good time in Tirana, it seemed quite safe from the experience I had of it. What I read out at the start of the video was just what others had said to me, but I didn’t experience any of their fears.
@@ShortBreaksCheapEscapes me too , made this coment for some other ears and eyes , not for you . If you were afraid you wouldnt had a visit to Tirana . 👋 Ps. Be aware from cows or sheeps , they could hit with their horns and upss 😅😅😅😅😅. Just kidding
@@besnikillyrian8520 ha ha I had been to Cairo by myself 2 months before, so Tirana with a friend was just fine and not concerned in the slightest. It’s a nice city, it’s just quite expensive if compared to Cairo etc.
Are there many Albanian Catholics ?, I was led to believe that the majority of Albanians were Muslim ?. Saying that though I didn’t see anywhere near as many mosques in Tirana as I did in Cairo.
@@ShortBreaksCheapEscapes thats because of 'via egnatia' the shortest route between west and east rome. several Apostel used this road and spread christianity.
Thanks for watching !, there are some really good hotels for the money all around the Pyramids complex. It’s only a short taxi or ride into downtown Giza then or into Cairo isn’t far either.
Ha ha a gift in Egypt is rarely a gift !. Well to be exact inside the pyramids complex and tourist areas that rings true. In non tourist areas I’ve had gifts that are actually gifts, so I think like anywhere the people taking advantage of the tourists are in the tourist areas. Many Egyptians are kind and hospitable, so don’t let the people in certain areas put you off. In my second video in Cairo they were much more chilled out, and didn’t just see you as a cash machine.
don't ride any of the horses or camels there in Egypt the animals are mistreated and they over work them whipping them and hitting them without enough food or water
The horses I saw whipped, but can’t say I ever saw the camels whipped. The camels were all sat eating when we got to the end too and had a water trough to drink from. Can’t say what the horses were like though as didn’t ride one, but the horse and cart ride I went on in Cairo that horse was in good condition and didn’t look malnourished and in the video you actually see it eating from a bag of food.
Yer I did think that, but when I look at the big vloggers they seemed to start with short episodes and all moved to longer 30-40 min ones as apparently that gets more views. Ill try some shorter ones on next trip. The camera thing was more about me worrying about being shouted at lol, as some people can be a bit funny there if you film them. My Arabic is really bad, so can only work out some phrases if they are talking about me lol. Need to do another trip to Prague or Bratislava in the summer as I can speak Czech to a pretty decent standard as my Ex is Czech and used to go over there all the time.
@@Ruffest ha ha doing Zipworld at the weekend and Morzine next month so will try shorter and see how they go. Might just be a blip as Albania seems popular at the min.
