@@bbluewater ask them about the laws regarding the snares. I see that they are unlawful to use to harvest blue crabs but I can’t find anything about if they are outlawed in general. I’d be shocked if Tuppens sold them if they were illegal to use
@@edwardbogumil8913 thanks for this. I checked it out. It looks like they are illegal specifically for harvest of blue crabs. I believe our calicos are still good to go to use snares. I’ll try and find more info though
Yeah, neat device and I wanted to use one. I checked with TDPW, and was informed that they are Illegal in Texas. Rats. They maybe restricted in other parts of the country as well so best to check with the proper authorities before using.
HECK YEAH!!!!!!!🤗💯😎 Gotta prove the method to get the new subscriber 🤗🤙💪 More than one way to skin a cat and more than one way to snag a crab (or ten or twenty or....)😊🤗
I know where you launch from. Do you camp north or south of there? (Camp in 10k Island Refuge (No Permit) or Everglades NP ( Permit Required)). I try and fish the whole area but only have camped South in Everglades NP.
Yes. I’d try oiling it. If you’re not comfortable doing so, see how much it costs to take it to someone at a tackle shop to get it moving again. Hopefully it’s just a little corrosion I. The gears
You’re holding one of my bucket list fish lol. Just left Florida and we struck out on the snook but my son caught a nice tarpon. Beautiful catch young lady your truly blessed and lucky to have caught such a beautiful fish
What a beautiful thought, bro. I appreciate the kind wishes. Let me know if you come back to Florida and I’ll try and point you in the snook direction!
@@watchyourlip3209be back in July if all goes well we come down every year and usually stay in Sabastian. Thanks for the offer and I just might take you up on that. So far I'm just having trouble pairing it to my app immediately having trouble with the password also I don't have a computer I just have my phone or iPad but how do I transfer the video or pictures to my phone I do have the app but I'm having trouble getting a pass word for it😊
Great video great family. using 40 # mono plus wire leader, the fish should have been brought to hand in ~ 15minutes. lean how much pressure (drag) you can put on a fish with the given tackle. fish wt. ??? max 60lbs if he swallowed the sputnik! anyway it is all about being with family & creating lasting memories anyways. thx.
Thanks bro!! It was amazing! I checked the drag tension several times and it seemed good. I think one of the reasons it took so long was the distance the bait was kayaked out (150+ yards) plus the distance the fish took line before getting the drag set. It was a special fish for sure. It fought with everything it had! Thanks for watching. Blessings to you
The reds and linesiders on the west coast love a chunk of lady under the mangroves to! Coast to coast awesome bait 😎🤙 100 lb tarpon for 💯 beautiful awesome WATCH YOUR LIP fam! #SUPERBLESSED❤😊🫶🙏
Enjoyable video. This is the course I play most often. I do have a few comments. 1) First, you are absolutely right about the fire ants. I swear that the course is built over a giant multi-acre ant nest. The first hole might be the worst. Therefore, I am very careful where I walk, and I don't stand in any one place longer than I need to. 2) The flooded conditions you played in are the worst I've seen. I experienced flooded conditions only once when I played, after we had a few consecutive days of heavy rain. I now know to avoid playing the course after any prolonged period of heavy raining. Otherwise, most of the time I play the fairways are not flooded. I can't attest to what you may encounter if you put it in the jungle though. 3) I'm not an expert at disc golf rules, but i suspect Sophia (sic) is in violation of the putting rules. She correctly puts one foot behind the marker but then leans forward putting her weight or her other foot which is well past the marker before releasing the disc. 4) As a relative newbie (and watching my son throw his disk into the lake and into the trees) I quickly decided that the first piece of additional equipment I needed to buy was a 10/11 foot telescoping disc retriever. It has turned out to be a great investment. But when you throw it that deep into the lake (as your son did) even that won't help. The important thing is that you guys had fun and you all were troopers for putting up with those conditions. Very funny video.
You committed a sin with your Carolina Skiff J16, you should had never put any holes in the floor. Anything you need to attach to the floor, you should do with fiberglass and epoxy, not by drilling holes in the floor, which will eventually allow water to get inside where the foam is and make your boat much heavier. That happens to every single Carolina Skiff J series where people have drilled holes in the floors.
@@watchyourlip3209 Six months is relatively a short time, eventually with vibrations, spaces will be created between the 5200 and the surfaces it's holding together, and water will slip through.
