Hi…..oh my goodness I have been searching all over RU-vid trying to find a video that show how to knit a mitt with a thumb hole and the ones I seen was so complicated for a beginner. Thank you sooooo much! I have one question…I am using flexi needles the ones you showed with 3…..how many deceases do I do when using just the 2 needles?
When you are making a thumb hole you just essentially cast off like 6 or 7 stitches or whatever seems right for the size of your thumb. It may be less if you are using worsted and your stitches are bigger. Essentially you are making a button hole to stick your thumb out. Let me know if this answers your question. 💕💕Marie
love the sweater, any scrappy project is my favorite. Your market bags are my favorite to make. I use mine all the time. (I think I mentioned before I make small ones with a Japanese knot bag handle to use as produce bags)
Linda, Yes! That’s great to hear you make the market bags. That’s such a great idea to make small ones as produce bags. Do you use thinner yarn to make them? I love how the sweater turned out and it was so easy and quick to make too. 💕💕Marie
Well… I tried my first one (not successful and had to rip it out) … using Lily Sugar ‘n Cream….Somehow this cotton yarn looks bulkier than yours…. I see what you mean about keeping your chains loose…next try, I might use a larger hook to make the 😮 …. Being a dyslexic person…I had issues counting the chains…. I just went slower but, ya, I ended up with “8” chains instead of 10…. Oh well, I can always try again….
@@sadegur Yeah just go slow and try again. You can always fudge it and put two stitches in one or crochet two together if you are off. It will still look beautiful and no one will ever know. Try again and just make it work. I bet you can do it, friend. 💕💕💕Marie
Thank you for tutorial, I wish you could see the lovely socks I made. I just have one question, when you started the ribbing you said to knit the knits and pearl the pearls....but that did not work. Did you maybe mean, knit the purls and purl the knits? Because that worked🌸🌼🩷
May I ask how wide your ribbing is? I'm following your instructions on the video and I casted on 64 stitches using size 7 double pointed needles, but my work looks much wider than yours. Yours look small where the ribbing is as if it would fit somewhere around a person's ankle. Mine may not fit until you get to or close to the thigh. I don't understand the difference when I'm using the same size needles and you said we could use straight needles, double pointed needles or circular needles. Thanks!
My ribbing is 31/2 inches wide. You know you can size down a needle size maybe you knit looser than I do. I would try that you can switch back to the larger size once you finish the cuff if you like. 💕💕Marie
These slippers are brilliant. I now make them in a chunky and a dk yarn. Three dk works but tends to leave one thread behind. This makes a firm slipper.if you know of someone who has cold feet in bed try these .using wool or synthetic and wool combo still keeps feet cosy.
I watched your tutorial all the way through and I love it. My only downfall will be the handle, but I want to try it. Thank you so much. You did a great job.
Hi!, I’m making some for my two year old granddaughter and some for me!! Not sure what colors but several will be made. I want a dark colored one for the cutest sweatband ever! And of course at least two in bright colors for my granddaughter Big ups for making this tutorial👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I have been looking for this pattern of slippers and by chance I came across your channel. I miss placed my pattern for the style and I am so thankful to find your channel. Thank you very much! I love your instruction and I love your hair. Thank you so much God bless. Have a wonderful day.

I just got a video from you yesterday and then one today, I have been missing you! I just looked and i see you have so many I didn't get notified about! I will enjoy going back to watch everything i have missed.❤
Shari, aww you’re so sweet to me, buddy. I can hear fireworks outside. It’s interesting, not even the 4th yet. I think there’s a way to get notifications on all videos. I think if you select the bell it says something about getting all notifications. 💕🌸💕Marie
Hi Marie! Great video! I really love the square bottom bag with the silver hearts. The socks are so cute. It myst be fun to wear a pretty crocheted flower on your wrist! I need to try to make one. Much love 💕
Thanks so much! You totally need to make a flower too? What color would you make? I just started on a flower with some cool yarn with little tweed dots on it. It was great to hear from you. 💕💕Marie
you always make the cutest stuff 😊 I love your market bags, I make them all the time. I even made some small ones, I made one longer handle and one short one ( like a Japanese knot bag) - I use them for produce.
Marie...You are so talented!! I love all of the bags, especially the granny square and the SOCKS....OH MY GOSH.....LOVE THE SOCKS!!!! ❤. Someday, I'm gonna learn how to crochet and knit!! lol
Hi I love the bags. Too cute. But, I need a sweat band to put on my wrist. But something cute!! I’m going to make one tonight. Cause tomorrow I’m playing pickleball and I do work up a sweat. I’ll be perspiring and looking cute as a dab at my perspiration. Good idea on making two circles for a more secure bottom. Yes, a tutorial on making any of the bags. But…I’d like a bag to make for carrying a book or two or three…😊I guess a rectangle solid granny square? I appreciate your smile and friendly personality.
Hi, Thanks so much! You totally have to make a flower for your wrist. I am here for it. Let me know how it goes, friend. Yeah for sure a solid granny and maybe lined with fabric. I have this cool bag tutorial that has solid plastic handles and is lined with fabric. You could totally use that one for books. It’s just a giant square that folds over, it’s really cool. 💕🌸💕Marie
Fabri-tac is the name and you get it at Walmart or Amazon or I saw it in Michael’s the other day too. I put it in an icing bottle, called sugar bell. I keep filling the bottles. I purchase a larger bottle and fill it in the smaller icing bottles to get the glue less expensive. Thanks 💕💕Marie
I had never heard of a snippet roll before! This turned out so cute. Yes please to the tutorial. You have also inspired me to embellish a little bag that I knit about 15 years ago and stopped using. This is exactly what it needs. Best wishes!
The one with the kitty on it is a pen and pencil case. The other bag is a notions bag with stitch markers and scissors and darning needles in it.💕💕Marie
