This channel is made by Sean White a San Antonio, TX resident that is into DIY projects. I'll post video about my RGB lighting, my 3d printers, my 3d printed CNC, and my remote control lawnmower. Also any other DIY things I may want to show the world. Stick around to find out as I'm a self taught RU-vid jack of all trades master to none.
And another question. Actually two. 1) What is the connector called that one connects the stepper motors to the Jackpot with? 2) What is the minimum width of the board that LR3 rides on? I mean just the part where is the conduit incl. the belt + the other part on the other side where it rides on bearings + the belt. Thank you very much
I tell ya, its been about a year now that i have had my 16 port controller. I dont have a ton of time on my hands so create shows once in awhile. My biggest problem is connecting and getting my show all configured and to play. My 4th of July was to be better than anything ive done...not now because I struggle again. Beyond frustrated. I think I want to switch to this, seems to automatically know pixel count per port, no cape to mess with, connects without reconfiguring a bunch of stuff. Ive got to see a few more videos but if theres a option to transmit I think i am sold on this. Thanks!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I had a falcon f16 before. It performed well, but the experience lights controllers are so easy to work with. Still have to use a raspberry pi to host my show, but it finds all my controllers and even links to a digquad controller.
Hi, is there a reason you got rid of the skr board? I bought it already. However... I'd like to use the machine without the LCD, just like you with an external PC. Is there a chance to do that using skr board 1.2?
I’m a tinkerer and was curious about the jackpot board. Once setup worked so much more fluid(no pun intended). I had a raspberry pi hooked up to my skr and ran octoprint to control the LR3 then. Rarely used the lcd
Thanks for posting this! I have the same problem with my wheels and thought I would have to replace the whole caster assembly. I was also thinking I would have to put this thing on its side, but the jack makes a lot more sense! Can you point me to what wheels you used?
Here’s the link. Super simple process. Smooth rolling now. LONGRUNFORU 5 Inch Caster Wheels, Premium Polyurethane on Polypropylene core, 1/2" Bore - Double Precision Ball Bearings-Set of 4 Heavy Duty Caster Wheel with 3200 lbs Capacity (4 PACK) a.co/d/gvRUJSc
I would a place to go to see the techinals, like how many pixels one port can push before need power injection, also things like web interface to set rgb order and brightness?@@SATXDIY
how is it? I'm thinking of replacing my xcarve for this but as a 4x8. " I spent the last few weekends leveling and squaring the machine." how difficult was it getting set up right and do you think it will stay calibrated?
I love mine. It wasn't too hard to setup. Not sure how level it is as the table I have it on flips down for storage. Couldn't afford an xcarve so went this route.
