Nothing serious here, just a place to share some videos, see how I can improve and have a bit of fun. It'll have some drone stuff, osmo stuff and bike stuff too. Feel free to say Hi :D
Hey bro. I have a 55" C1 and I'm hoping to do this setup. I already bought the 55" pre-set TV strip that covers the sides and top of the TV. For the bottom you used "1 x Philips Hue Gradient 2m (80")" did you have to cut this? For me this will be too big for the bottom of my 55" screen. Thanks
Looking forward to going back it was an awesome place, met a great bunch of people…and just for the record, I’m not used to seeing the yellow sunny thing in they sky, easy mistake to think it was my hot engine 🙈😳 😆
MT10 Brit "invasion" to try and balance out all the German KTMs.... ;) :D I am surprised they still let Shaun in with a Trumpet, though! ;) :D :D (it started out as a KTM Duke 690 meet, became a KTM general meet, then as people moved onto other makes, just a mates get together, then I convinced Shaun to expand it to make it "international", and here we are... ;) D: ) Fantastic weekend, fantastic company, fantastic place, fantastic scenery... I did 2.3k miles in that week and outside of this weekend, saw a single one other brit Biker the whole time!!! :( (ignoring the Nürburging, obvs... (where you see someone from pretty much everywhere!!) );) :D
I am currently thinking of changing my gsxr1000r for one of these had a 2020 tuono rr previously too, just finding it hard to fully exploit the gsxrs potential on the road i think a meaty midrange is where its at. Great lil review 👍🏼
Hey Mike, thanks for the video. I am just about to do the same to my 77“ TV. do you find it annoying sometimes the corners aren‘t too well lit? How did you mount the extra lightstrip for the bottom on the back of the TV? Thanks a lot!
Hi, Yes it does annoy me but with the 80" lightstrip there's enough to over lap the bottom corners. The lightstrip is self adhesive with 3M so it's pretty good. I also bought some spare 3M from Amazon to make sure it doesn't go anywhere.
@@mikejgriffiths don't we all!!!! , nice to see you out and about, was down Pendine visiting a mate day before yesterday, bloody rammed with cars, at least you were in the right place!!!!.... Hope to graph u and Rachel up the owls soon....p
I am wondering the work around for getting the lighting to work on the TV itself instead of needing it to be a device connected through HDMI. Kinda how the Phillips hue app works
Its not a blanket 20mph. Plenty left at 30 if you must go faster in built up areas. Our villages are not your playground. Our settlements were built for people, not motor vehicles. Be patient, it will settle down as they figure out where the changes between limits can be improved. The consultation wasn't just about the survey, it was open and I took part as we wanted 20 in our village - surveys repeatedly show that most of us want everybody else to do 20 - but not past their house.
I'm sorry but they're not your villages and they are my playground and everyone elses for that matter. What gives you the authority to tell me otherwise? Plus it is pretty much a blanket 20mph everywhere in villages and towns. It has caused chaos in the village that I live in and the villages around and I shouldn't have to put up with the standing traffic around my house. So I fundamentally diagree with your opinion on this. This also harkens to the subject I mention, why does your opinion take prescedence over anyone elses? The survey didn't take part as "WE" wanted. It may have taken part as "YOU" wanted but that's the problem, your, and my opinions, are just a part of the wider coversation and one side of the conversation was not taken into account. The fact that a patetion with 500K signatures, disagreeing with your opinion has been passed to the Senedd, tells anyone just how unhappy the majority of the Welsh poulation are with this uneducated decision. You are incorrect with your assertion that "most" people wanted 20. It may have been the case in your village but the population as a whole does not agree.
Remember that it was in both Labour and Plaid manifestos. They won more votes on the strength of it than the vaunted petition. I am pleased to see an elected government keeping it's word to it's electorate. And no, roads aren't playgrounds, and less so in built up areas. Roads are for people, on foot, horseback, motor vehicle - and they deserve to be safe. Why does your opinion count for more than the election? Your not taking part in the open consultation was down to you. Nobody else. You disappoint me.
@@richardmarshall9309 My opinion doesn't count anymore than anyone elses but if you think that this was the reason why Labour won then I'd suggest you were mistaken. The fact that it appears that there is indeed going to be a reversal due to the weight of opinion from the Welsh population would suggest that it wasn't a reason for anyone winning anything. Saftey has nothing to do with a blanket 20mph through villages because people on horses. cyciists walkers etc. Spend the majority of their time outside of villages and towns. And I'm sorry to a lot of people. not just motorcyclists, roads are indeed playgrounds. This very video and multiple hundres of videos like it, from multiple 10s of contributors display exactly how, to a lot of people, roads are indeed playgrounds. It's always good to broaden your perspective by engaging with people that have a different one than you so thank you for engaging even if we do disagree.
Not really, just a reframe in Insta360 studio. The colours out of the 360 are always over saturated and too contrasty so I did try to tone them down just a bit, hartdly anything.
I have the Insta360 GPS remote which can connect multiple cameras. It's what is supplying the GPS overlay info. I'm not sure that 8k is necessary yet but I would definately get a used One X3 or a new One X4 if Insta360 wanted to give me one #Insta360 :D
With your knowledge of Wales you should consider running guided tours for small groups of bikers? The roads there are still some of the best in the country, far less potholes to contend with.
Cheers Matt but the honest truth is, I haven't got a clue! Just making it up as I go along :D This is only half of where I went but the video would have been 2 hours long. I'll be working on a part 2
@@mikejgriffiths I'm also not sure you'd have the patience to have to ride slow enough for the "average" touring rider... ;) :D Also, don't share "our" best roads too widely, we want to keep them quiet for ourselves... ;) :D :D :D

10k miles in now, slowed down over winter. It's still awesome, it still makes me laugh out loud everytime I open the throttle for the first time. The comfort seat is A MUST! Yamaha should be ashamed of themselves with how thin and uncomfortable the standard seat is. Good thing is that the Gen 1 comfort seat, just like this one, fits so there are plenty of cheaper options available on ebay etc. Looking forward to more sun and a lot less rain.
the muffler might look bland in my experience it sounds just as good or better than after market and performance wise is not if any noticeable a cat delete means block offs exhaust valve delete and for what really a few more uneeded ponies one plus is the weight reduction the extra weight of stock comes in handy with a 30mph crosswind the tail tidy looks good
HDMI from the Ps5, Nvidia Shield into the AV Receiver. AV receiver to one input on the Philips Hue Dync Box HDMI sync Box, which is stuck with Velcro to the back of the TV. All these thin hard seats are for hot countries normally. I brought an mt10 number plate in an auction so now have to buy the bike, thay price you paid sounds good 👍
What mirrors do you have fitted? I’m also curious about the frame sliders you have fitted, which ones are they? Mine is about to arrive soon and I want to fit a couple of protection pieces first and foremost. Nevermind, they’re evotech. Just the mirrors please hahaha Thanks
Got them from The Jungle. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0956Q9GHB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They have the correct frame adapters so no crappy expanding rubber fit

I had an MT10 of the same shape as yours, if I went back to one from my current Tuono 1100 V4 factory, I’d totally miss the quickshifter/blipper. But I agree on the servicing costs, it’s a bit steep. I’d also hugely miss the stopping power of the Brembos!
I now have a 2022 MT-10 SP. I now have a quick shift and blipper plus braded hoses which sorts out the majorty of our issues. Check out some of my more recent videos
Guess I am getting old. Considering the MT10 Sp. Have a 2020 S1000rr. Love the bike, but bad wrists after an accident, and I am considering my options. Like the look of the cb1000r, but we don't get it in Australia. Is Yamaha as reliable as Honda? Not in love with the front end look of the MT10, but I hear they have a habit of putting a smile on your face.
Tengo una mt10 del año 2017 y solo una pega ...su temperatura sube demasiado cuando no está en movimiento, se calienta más que cualquier otra moto que haya tenido antes...y son unas cuantas ...por lo demás, excelente máquina!!
Love your sp! I'm thinking about getting the 2024 model. If you're still interested in an exhaust, you should give Damien a shout in Kendall, Cumbria. I'm pretty sure he makes at least two end cans for your bike. They look great and sound great also. The name of his company is Fuel exhaust.
Thank you, I love it too. You should get the 2024 it just makes sense :) I'm still not sure what I want to do. I still have the issue about going to Europe, just takes 1 German cop having a bad day, plus things seem to be getting worse here too. If I was going to get one however it would be the black Akro
@@mikejgriffithsDamien takes great pride in his work. Fuel exhaust are second to none. Lifetime warranty. Just my opinion, but they sound better than akropovic. Not even to mention, less than half the price akropovic. Check them out. He's got the Diablo and Stealth for the mt10 and they come in different finishes
