I am just happy India learnt its lesson of not trusting China's promises and decided to keep the full strength of force..China is like that ungrateful, unruly drivers on our Indian roads, if you decide to do the good and let them give space for everyone's advantage, they will just use it to their own advantage and block you out. They just didn't think India will hold out and keep holding out no matter what and rapidly develop the infra and deployment along the LAC...now they have realized, this is the new status quo and are adjusting their policies accordingly.
The US's angst toward China is genuine, and India should not be burying its head in the sand. The whole Western world is fed up with China's copyrights, trade, and other violations and is looking to put it back in its place. Likewise, the West is very afraid of Russia and is trying to contain it. The situation in both these countries is super critical because both are run by dictatorships rather than democratic processes. India finds itself in an urgent and precarious position, caught between conflicting forces. As it strives to enhance its global standing, it grapples with the realization that its social standing is not improving in the Western world. The Western world's reluctance to accord India the pedestal it desires has led to its collusion with global adversaries. China's decision to open multiple fronts on its borders is a strategic blunder that it is beginning to comprehend. The recent border agreement is not a gesture of goodwill towards India, but a tactical move to buy time and space to recalibrate its aggressive agenda. It's crucial to remember the 'India Chini Bhai-Bhai' declaration in 1961-62, which was followed by a Chinese attack on India the next year. While pro-Russian and pro-Chinese vloggers may be celebrating this historic agreement, it's important to note their potential betrayal. Keep their contact information handy, as you may need to remind them of their jubilation when China resumes its deceitful tactics next year.
I have a bad feeling about this. What did China gain from all this? We weren't in a particularly strong state against China for them to back down. Furthermore, it's most probable that Russia mediated between the two countries. They certainly won't be that unfair to China! Unless there is something good coming up for China at the upcoming summit. My hunch is that, it could possibly be something that'd increase China's influence in BRICKS. Perhaps Yuan gains more importance by something like being the common trade currency between the members? Or maybe Yuan backing the upcoming R5 currency?
Indian govt. never admitted China intruded in Depsang plains in 2020. Even PM, Defence minister stated no one intruded. Subsequently news trickled in that a buffer zone has been created. The buffer zone was on Indian side. Now the news of disengagement with very little details. Did India cede any territory? Why the PM not showing his "red eyes" to China? Why there is always a denial mode vis-a-vis China? Once FM Shri Jaishankar said " we can't start a fight with a larger economy", but does it imply India starts cowing down before China?
Some are reporting others thing . Tussle with america is other thing but don't put guard down on china side . I should always worry about closer opponent. Now hope army will not start sleeping with these political gimmicks .
China has closely watched the entire fiasco between five eyes alliance vs india, also the heated exchanges between india and canada.. China now clearly understands that india can be a really good ally against western hegemony.. Though time will tell the real chinese intentions..
China is a country which cannot be trusted for their Salami Slicing policy. Now that , they are embroiled in Taiwan and South China sea , they do not want to mess with India.
