Сам люблю подобное рукоделие, но..... Эта красота рыбе не нужна. Это больше для рыбаков такая красота нужна. Когда рыба есть в воде, я и на ржавый гвоздь ее поймаю. Как то на рыбалке мой знакомый ловил саргана на дорогие японские пилькеры, А я достал свою блесну, которую выточил напильником из шампура и ловил в разы больше рыбы чем он.
Looks like paulownia (similar to balsa) to me, but could be wrong. Don't know if you already watch the Engineered Angler, but worth a look. He shows that wood selection is not so important.
Fantastic job on the lure. However these lures, which look almost identical to yours, are now selling at most Dollarama Stores (Dollar Stores) in Canada at $4.50 CDN. So it’s not worth our while to make one, but a job well done by you.
