Question for you: When you put the skylight back on, did you have to drill new holes for the screws in the curb? I'm wondering if having the accessory tray in there caused the skylight to rest up a little higher off the frame and roof, making the old screw holes in the curb mount unaligned with the screw holes in the skylight. Thanks for this awesome, helpful, 2 part video!
I've got my pricing figured out...here it is... 36" x 24" skylight from Lowes= $430 Shingles, vapor barrier, lumber, drywall, etc. $200 Labor @ $400/day 2 days. 1 guy. =$1000 +- TOTAL- $1,630. And I, personally can do it....so if nobody wants to? Their loss... Your points are very well taken, however. This is a specialized job. My project is easy access, above, and below.
