Hello, my department acquired a similar vehicle, they gave us a demonstration of how to use it and all its components, but there were parts that it happened to them to indicate to us what they were used for, such as in the control panel of the truck's stabilizers, where A button appears that says: EPU, which they never told us what it is for, or when it should be used. Could you help us by telling us what it is for and when it is used?
@@Firebuff101 They make a demonstration video of how a platform is manipulated and give some small technical advice on what is done with such a machine, but they cannot answer a technical question? 8:43 i hate what they did with the driver SCBA on my departments ladder. i pulled it down on time and the airpack nearly came down on me. not smart to put it in a bag. But i don’t need to access it so not my issue

they’re not hard to use. They’re pretty heavy. Heavier than the electric ones. You connect the cutters to hydraulic lines which connect to the generator. Start the generator and get it going and start using the cutters.
These fancy things are nothing but an obscene waste of public tax money. Fancy show pieces is all they are highly doubt it will ever truly ever save any lives but it looks great in parades!
Should’ve made it a walk in. The bumper should’ve had a pair of cutters and spreaders as well as two hydraulic reels to the front. Should make it a 10 man cab. The air bottles should’ve been next to the fill station. Have your jaws of life and generator on the bottom. The fans should’ve been on the bottom. Stokes basket should’ve been put in the back. Decon equipment all together. SCBA equipment together. Tech rescue gear all together. Firefighting tools all together. All the vehicle rescue gear together. They have everything all over.
Ladder safety belts? We just say harnesses. What a load! What’s the point of having 2 ladder trucks in the same station when you are a small area? Good lord go to money management class.
