I started learning guitar late at 58. I’m 63 now. I’m learning 400 bucks on guitar and a mess of other songs you’ve posted. We are getting older but not dead yet. Lynch Mob / George Lynch was the last concert I saw a few weeks ago, It was great. I just subbed your channel to follow you around. Maybe see you around one of these days 👍🏻
I saw RHH a few times. With Motörhead, Nashville Pussy. Earlier with the Cadillac Tramps. Almost ageless. Last year in Phoenix with the Surfragettes, an instrumental all girl surf band. Thanks for the video today.
The wrong f**king bands r getting rich playing music. Tell me how the f**k Helmet as great as they sound, but what's even more amazing is how tight they are, tell me how they're not still selling out live venues. Or how is it they're not on a major label these days? Most music nowadays is done by machines, and it shows but not Helmet they're fucking genius's musically and have loved them since I first saw them on Headbanger's Ball in like winter of 1992. Keep it up fellas y'all rock!!
I only just got into punk. To be honest it was the drum intro to Green Day’s song Longview that just kicked so much ass. Really in your face, no fucks given… and here I am digging deeper and listening to stuff like The Exploited, youth of today, ceremony, the ramones, bad religion, NOFX, rancid, lagwagon… and oh boy I have a lot of catching up to do.
My x saw then at Trees in Dallas, Texas back in the early 90's They had the whole place covered in plastic and took a big hose and sprayed a red substance all over the whole crowd🤘🤘
This would have been cool, had it not been for the fools in front of the camera, bouncing on their beds, and waving their arms around, trying to swat at some bees. 😆
If anyone is interested, this song is about Bud Dwyer. I don't want to talk about what happened to heavily on YT, but he was accused of embezzlement, held a press conference, and offed himself live on national TV, to which he was later found to be innocent
What's weird about surf guitar? Maybe you're just not familiar with it? Millions of fans can't possibly be wrong just because you haven't come across it before?
Are they still playing? Loved these guys in the early 2000s. Got to see them while i was in college in PA a couple of times and they were always great. Dennis took the time to chat before their set both times and couldn't have been cooler.
