Võitlus käib siin täiel rindel, keegi pole võidus kindel, sarvi langeb nagu loogu, kahel jalal tants saab hoogu. Uskumatult tore töö, näha hirvekarja ööd.😊
kolmas selles mõttes, et enne on ka kahel korral harudega sarved kasvatanud 😅 tegelikult on vist kolmel korral, aga viimasel ajal, eriti see hooaeg, ongi paljud noored oodatust väiksemad sarved kasvatanud 🤔
Never seen this before. Very interesting. A little sad seeing him shed any dominance he had, even if it's just temporary. And it was funny because when the buck that helped him take it off ("Red Deer"?) walked over to the other one antler'd buck I imagined him threatening- "Yeah, I took his last antler and I'll do it to you too!" 😆
Thanks Rongike! I got a few beautiful pictures early this morning here in the fog, in the field behind my house. 2 Bucks passing by and pausing. We had been looking for their antlers. Now we know! They are still wearing them! 😮
Thanks Rongike. This is the time of year we walk our fields and woods searching for cast antlers. I noticed 3 of 4 bucks behind my house this week had only one, so the search begins.
@rongike ...There are 2 herds that stay separate on our property, one in the north and one in the south. This time of year, they herd up together...there were around 50 behind our house last week. That was why all the bucks were together in one place.
We have racoons here. They are very destructive. They can tear siding off your house and break in and create chaos. There are companies that trap and remove them called Critter Capture....
it's a part of a net that was around the hay holding it together and remained under the hay. they can't manage to remove them completely. they are just feeding wild deer during winter here.
no, but we're still waiting 🥺 in previous seasons some of the other regulars have gone missing for a month or longer and then reappeared, so it's still possible he might come back..
