I asked Claude why Bloomburg chose 2 British-accent hosts, I got the answer: There could be a few potential reasons why Bloomberg chose British English-speaking hosts for their "Technology" show: Prestige and credibility: The British English accent is sometimes perceived as sounding more authoritative, prestigious or credible, especially when discussing serious topics like technology and business. Bloomberg may have wanted to project an image of expertise. International appeal: Bloomberg is a global media company. Having British hosts could help the show appeal to an international audience beyond just the U.S. market. The British accent is widely recognized around the world. Differentiation: Most American TV personalities do speak American English. Having British hosts helps Bloomberg's show stand out and seem distinct from the typical programming. Individual talent/expertise: The specific hosts may have been hired primarily for their skills and technology/business knowledge rather than their accents per se. As for how average Americans respond to British English speakers on television, attitudes can vary: Some may see it as sophisticated, intelligent or entertaining, especially for certain topics. Others may find very heavy regional British accents hard to understand initially. A few may perceive an unnecessary "foreignness" and prefer broadcasters who speak American English. However, British actors and personalities have had success on American television for decades. As long as the hosts are clear communicators, most viewers likely get accustomed to the accents quickly. The acceptance level depends on the strength of the accents and the open-mindedness of the individual viewers.
The stock market seems to be showing signs of volatility lately. It's crucial for investors to stay informed and make well-thought-out decisions to navigate these uncertain times.
I've been focusing more on long-term investments recently. It helps me ride out the short-term fluctuations without getting too anxious. you should try it out.
I'm sticking to my investment plan and avoiding making impulsive decisions based on short-term market movements. It's all about staying disciplined. I had to learn that from a guy I met online. He gives multiple financial advises and tell you what stock is best to buy and watch.
This is China extending olive branch to USA to not impose ban on Chinese EVs under the "national security" or "over capacity" arguments, or to at least have some concession from the law makers...
The TikTok case is being argued in two different ways. 1) this is US vs China and 2) this is the Govt vs Amerian people. Most US law professors take "the US govt versus the US constitution's" free speech point of view, citing the State of Montana's law banning TikTok and losing the case in the courts. There were two parties against the state of Montana, one was of course TikTok, but the other was a group of TikTok users.
Tesla is a loser stock. “Tentative clearance” just means as soon as CCP sees there are zero tech worth the money, they will bail, or that if there is anything, they will figure out the tech and dump Tesla by the wayside. All these are simply optics so that Musk can temporarily slow the decline of the stock.
On content productions and streaming, clearly a major correction is coming. RU-vid is still the constant just on the amount of content available where I am paying for the premium subscription. OR I would go directly to the content maker themselves, such as the performers’ own pay to view website-apps on one offs or serials……for example: Louis CK, the comedian and such….Established performers should do so to maximize net revenue…..Not subscribed to social medias or other streaming…..
ONLY the US has the right to spy on citizens over social media. And, CIA still couldn't find a way to hack TikTok or Huawei phones. That's why the US is so upset.
Twitter/X is/was used by ISIS to recruit members. FB was used to live stream a mass shooting in New Zealand. There's a reason they don't want those headaches.
This is a very interesting interview with John Rogers. He probably didn't want to get too into the weeds regarding how a potential merger/acquisition would be consummated, but things really do seem to hinge on how voting versus non-voting shares in Paramount are distributed. Based on what I've read, of the total ~650 million shares outstanding, only approximately 6% are voting shares; and about 75% of these voting shares are owned by National Amusements, which is controlled by Shari Redstone. One way to structure a deal is to just purchase control via the voting shares, which would potentially enrich Shari Redstone immensely but upset those holding the remaining ~94% of non-voting shares. However, based on an analysis I've read, buying all the outstanding shares has its own problems, namely those holding voting shares would probably get less than what their shares are worth. And of course, there are all the other deal structures in between, which would reward holders of voting vs non-voting shares in varying degrees. I'm no expert in M&A, but this just seems tricky to structure. Bob Bakish stepping down and being replaced by a troika probably doesn't help matters much. As for each offer's merits, John Rogers's point about potential synergies with Sony is a good one. For example, depending on the implementation, a number of popular Paramount films and shows could probably also flourish as video games. I'm not as familiar with Skydance's proposal for Paramount, but it must have at least some merit as well (aside from it potentially enriching certain shareholders) considering how seriously Shari Redstone is reportedly taking it.

Get rid of high maintenance and you benefit 3 fold. Unfortunately there’s some good in that bunch but I bet he’ll hire them back if they were truly good. It’s up to them if they go back, and it’s up to the CEO to make the tough decisions.
Acquiring a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $160K for some time now, but my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
Investors should be cautious about their exposure and be wary of new buys, especially during inflation. Such high yields in this recession are only possible under the supervision of a professional or trusted advisor.
@@ummalkhairihussainimusa9195 Since risk is at an all-time high right now, perhaps you should be a little more patient and return when it has decreased. Alternatively, you can consult a trained financial expert for strategy.

This was definitely a video I needed to watch, as an inspired trader I’ve had a hard time creating structure/game plan going into the charts, thankfully I haven’t blown any money. What I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around is after I mark up the trading view chart and finish my analysis, am I going back to pocket option or “broker” to make the trade, does the market match up? Is there a video or a video that you can create showing the process? I will say this, you are by far the best instructor I’ve came across and have learn led much more from you than the teachers I’ve watched in my months of studying. I will be joining the team soon
There are certian social elements and other factors not well addressed in terms of micro mobility. Do like the concept of services, but still would want to have my own E bike that does not get wrecked in the rain or be the cause of a serious fire. Eldery, disabled? "Some need other affordable options." Do like cycling myself, but..roads, rules..not always accomadating nor time schedules, shift changes and it gets rather cold and dark this far north. Few places to park the bike which are secure..finding parts, " service?" Lucky to have some know how here.. but some jobs on these units require more technical ability and acess to resources. A base model that is affordable, reliable.. seven months of the year, "sure." Winter tires? Clear streets, paths? 😅... Battery on the E bike here don't exactly function proper in -20°C and it can get to -60°C in this nation. Have rode in it before, but must say for the total distance of 50km or greater pending on what may happen towards daily errands after work hours.." not getting any younger." Engine drive of 500 watts minimum, far as the battery goes, well.. guess we will see how they develop. Gas engines work extra hard in the winter also. Kinda prefer a roof plus additional security of having a frame around me and a working heater..but to have that requires more than able to earn at this time. Making do with an older non powered bicycle since the Axle on the ebike broke.. Sweet F all on the amazon app avalible that I can obtain to fix the issue, trade embargos and all jacking the prices up out of reach..I really do miss riding it. Astride a few minor design flaws such as what broke the axle..decent creation that should be more common and acceptable to utilize. Still need a car or truck out here..but having one makes a differance on bills plus gets one outside more often. Regular non powered pedal bikes too. After a full day however... gets tiring. Little left for housework, social life..etc..😅. Resting right now from having overdone it..snow on it's way as well. So much going on all at once..well, there is a market out here..just don't know if the details could be ironed out properly. Some are also not fully grown up and theres the whole theft plus vandalisim problem which makes it so we cannot have nice things that are reliable and functional.
