I have same situation on my 60 series glider kit 12.7 ! Temp goes to 200 then engine light comes on but temp wont last , it goes down quickly then everything nomal but l can catch when we plug in the computer for diagnostic it only says oil & coolant was running high ! Would it be the same as yours ??
Hey my man. Check the plug & wires on that light. If plug and wires are good, move plug to another light and see if it still does it. If so, it's the plug. If not, it's the light. Let us know!
@@Gstarxpress also check voltage ecm has a lithium ion battery 3.5 v that when it burst it's not like the 1994 n down where it had coil rechargeable system the problem is when it explodes it causes bunch of problems if u ever driving n shuts off check the there's good connection on ur three fuses in back of battery 🔋 most step does short shuts off while driving
Tell me? ever been in the middle of Wyoming or North Dakota -30 to -40? You put additives but mid flight you notice your fuel is gelling. Maybe your fuel heat went out.. what do you do now?
That put me to sleep.. how about you talk about powering loads. Should I sign up with landstar? What are the down falls to sign up with companies like that.. tell me the best and fast way to find $3.50 to $4 mile loads. So much more you can talk about other than this nonsense that put me to sleep
Are you really out to help? Or take a percentage cause of your help. Tell me how to get a produce customer. Example: Kroger calling me for loads instead of using load board. Some watermelon farm calling me for a load. Not a stupid broker
Transportation is our passion. We are most definitely here to help! To get direct customers, here are a few tips for you personally. We'd love to hear what you think: (1) You have to be willing to hit the pavement. Look for other shippers and receivers on your route or near where you live. Call, go shake hands with them and just make contact. Sometimes this can produce business by letting them know you have your own truck(s) & trailer(s) & flexible availability. Offer to cut out the middle man cost for you both. Some brokers aren't reliable anyway so having a trucking company that has a face to them works better for some customers. Think, if you have a reefer, what needs to be refrigerated around your area? Or if you have a flatbed, what equipment rental places are near you? Think out of the box. Talk with people and business owners you already know. Network. With our trucking company, we have several direct customers. Their needs and busy season are constantly changing so it is good to have a handful or two. (2) You mentioned produce. We're not sure how long you've been in the business, but the location of the produce will change throughout the year. In the winter, it will be in a certain region of the country, then in the spring it will be a different region you will be hauling from. Think about goods other than produce. Look at the items in your local grocery store or google search food manufacturers etc in your area for example. (3) Trailers are relatively cheap. Buying a trailer to help out a direct customer is worth it. Please, comment with more questions. We'd love to keep the conversation going. We'll see you on down the road, driver!
@@tbcconsultants well I already knew the answers to my questions. I wanted to really see if you are here to rip off new o/o. I could have googled my question and got the same answer you gave me. You didn’t ask for my opinion but I am giving it anyways. Stick to fixing trucks and trailer content. Your o/o advice needs to much work. “Hit the pavement” what type of..
I learned nothing from this. Loads are cheap and getting cheaper. What you are not talking about is how to get a plug. Driver to direct shipper. Without a dumb broker. Avoiding 3rd party brokering. Tax’s you don’t speak on that. That takes most of the profits. That’s just for starters.
Hi Josh. My names Tony. I'm out here in California. I got a Thermo King sb210+ with electric standby. I need to change the 2 belts on the compressor side. I can't figure out how to change them out with detaching the compressor. Any idea how that works?
Joshua says - Unfortunately you do have to slide the compressor back. It is the same on a carrier xa models to change the fan drive belt. Let us know if you have any more questions & how it goes.
Start by making sure your plugs for the temperature sending unit, oil pressure and fuel pressure sensor are making a good connection and the wires are in good shape. Let us know.
I bought a truck in 2020 for $32k….. drove it 2 years..sold it in 2022 for $60k….. bought another for $45k….basically the same truck without the sleeper…..but hauling fuel out is up and down, but I always work 6 days on 1 day off….. best job in world to me…. Loving your job makes it easy…..Thanks for sharing your knowledge
As long as we were cranking, yes, the check engine stayed on. But once we turned the key back off, it was not on. We did not check the code due to the truck being on the road and unable to get to a computer. Could you elaborate on your problem with your truck?
@@tbcconsultants Would love to see trouble shooting vids! For example: what should be the time limit your reefer should come done from +45 to -10? Where should you look if it takes too long.
@@tbcconsultants called dealers in my area but I have a 379 that was a glider kit and installed a 12.7 and they claim they don’t know what a “ fuel check valve is” but thank you I’ll try those out
Hello! We are going to figure out how to turn notifications on for RU-vid comments. Thanks for your patience in the delay in answering. What kind of unit do you have & year model? FYI these valves are all on backorder right now according to our source.
