Annie is almost useless pre 6 and completely useless without ult post 6. Also she is a squishy champion with no range and no mobility, terrible combination. If she falls behind she gets useless and her early is weak, terrible combination again. She does shine in mid game, but even on late game with the right build you can survive Annie's combo with a support to shield you and after her combo she is just dead without her stuns and cooldowns. Just take something with more range than her like Orianna, Ziggs, Lux, or something that can tank her combo and retaliate and kill her like Diana, Galio and Irelia. Annie has a lot of counters, but if you just make the wrong picks and building the wrong items, than any champion can be broken. Annie struggles even against meme champions mid.
