I am so happy to hear this. That is my goal- to make it easier to learn! I do teach one on one Zoom lessons if you ever need additional help. Thank you for the feedback.
Thanks so much for this video. I didn't see it until after I spent hours trying to figure out how to do this. Ended up scrapping the design I had spent hours on trying to draw swirls and used this video - in minutes I was done! But for the jump stitches. I put the swirls in manually one at a time and adjusted them to fit within my dog silhouette design. I'm thinking I need to assign a different color for each swirl to avoid the jumps. It's pretty hard to find them - all white and on FSL.
Does the underlay automatically happen? Or do we have to design in & then over it make our design as well? & if so, does underlayer have a specific shape or stitch type? Or can we use anything
Hi, I am thinking of purchasing essentials. I’m overwhelmed though. I have lots of designs and bought fonts already. Will I be able to add all those to essentials?
Hi Tammy Designs are not stored in Essentials but you can bring them in! You can resize, merge and add lettering among other things. If you bought .BX fonts you can load them into Essentials and use them by typing on your computer instead of individually bringing in each letter.
Thank you for the tutorials, but it would've been better if you uploaded the videos in higher resolution at least 720p, and speak louder for the viewers to see and hear more clearly.
I did recently get a microphone to increase the volume of my voice. Not sure on the resolution? You are the first person ever to say anything about that but I will check into that. When I view them they are very clear. Thanks for the feedback.
Hello I am new to enthusiast and trying your suggestions for knockdown stitches and filling in Gaps . I am on a PC and when I double click on the stitch point to remove it nothing happens . Do you have a separate video on this ? Thanks !
I REALLY want to understand digitizing--my main problem is spending time on doing it. I end up with too much time between learning that I forgot what I learned...I have several Embrilliance software, but it just does click. You make it look so easy. I’m going to watch more of your videos because you teach the best for me.honestly...and I’ve watched hundreds of these digitizing videos...So, thank you so much!
Good video, I watched and was so glad you explained the flow of things, it is so easy to get things done and not think about the flow until the end. Would this design take a very strong stabilizer because of the fill stitches being fairly dense? Just curious.
Thank you so much for showing the starting and stopping points . I am also trying to learn how to do a fill like a redwork design fill. I know I need to make the stitching further apart (less dense), but I am not getting the underlay right. Any points you can give me would be appreciated. I just need to really figure out how I can create a less stitched fill. I love the way you show how to do stuff, you do not put too much information to absorb into one idea at a time. I wish there was a way one could I guess buy lessons on video and learn from that, but there does not seem to be anything out there now, it is play until you figure it out.
Hi Deb. I am glad you are enjoying them. When you say red work it is typically associated with just a running bean stitch not a fill. Are you maybe talking about sketchy fill? Just an FYI I do offer one on one Zoom lessons. You can always email me at Kimberly@huglonger.com for information.
@@debcarry1217 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g9PnqLsHx4E.html. I do have a video on that, an older one. If you need more help than this schedule a lesson with me! Everyone that has taken lessons have been very happy with them!
@@kimberlysuemiller Thank you so much for the video, it explains quite a bit. Do you have previously recorded lessons that one can pay for and go through when they have time? I would be willing to pay for something like that. I just love this platform and want to create so much stuff, but get stalled with trying to push buttons and basically getting confused. I have up to Stitch Artist 2, will upgrade to 3 in a couple of months. You are very patient with all your instructions and do not overwhelm a person when teaching something. I do not have a facebook account, so cannot get into your other forum. There is so much to learn and so many features available to me, I just do not know what all is out there.
@@debcarry1217 I have a lot more pre recorded videos here for free! Just follow my channel and look around. Some are for actual embroidery and some for Essentials or Enthusiast but plenty for Stitch Artist as well. I do not have any paid versions here buy if you ever do want a one on one lesson I do offer those. 2022 price for a one hour Zoom lesson is 28 dollars and it does include follow up notes on all we learn. Otherwise keep following along here and ask questions! I am occasionally looking for topics to cover :) and might just make a video or two of just what you are looking for. Hugs
LOVE your videos. Please keep them up, and if possible can you work with Stitch Artist level 2 more? I just bought it and am trying to get used to it, I can use whatever tips and tricks you might have.
@@kimberlysuemiller The drawing tools, bezia, and other when you copy and paste things, and most of all the best way to keep the tie offs from taking over things when the copy and paste works, I get confused when I need to stop them completely and start them again.
Hi Cynthia! I will work on a video about that. Make sure you are subscribed to my channel and look for it with in the next several days. Also if you find you need more help I do offer Zoom lessons one on one.
