Oh my Goodness, this is a lie from start to finish. Althorp, as described her, was indeed Diana's Family home... home of the Earls Spencer of each generation- her grandfather, her father and now her brother. Diana lived there from her early teens when her father inherited. Dumfries House. Did Charles BUY IT? No. Does it, did it, will it..... belong to Queen Camilla? No. Not now or ever. Did she live there, grow up there, reside there,? No, no and no again! Charles heard that the stately home of Dumfries, with its rare and precious collection, would be sold.... and its contents auctioned and scattered. Charles is the Director of a Charitable Trust that HE founded, to help 18 individual Charities that he supports. The main aim of the Trust is helping youths learn skills. Charles raised the funds, through the Trust to purchase and rescue this important piece of Heritage intact. So what is it used for? The restoration of the building was utilised in training young people in building and conservation skills. The farmland is similarly used for training. The house and gardens are open to the public , like many stately homes. There is a function centre, and guest houses for rental. The aim is that the Dumfries House is self sustaining, and contributes to the Princes Trust, aiding other charities, while maintaining a Heritage building for the people of Scotland. THIS IS NOT CAMILLA'S HOUSE.
Correction at 2:30. (You REALLY need to get this one right.) You say "Mutual recriminations". You say "tell all biographies". "You say "admissions" of infidelity on both sides". No. and No. and No. There were No MUTUAL recriminations, because although Diana whined, complained, and accused Charles publicly and to the media and to biographers and anyone else who would listen, starting BEFORE THE WEDDING, ..... Charles has NEVER accused or blamed, or demeaned Diana in any way, and neither has any other member of the Royal Family.. They have remained completely silent except for two occasions. Charles, on stating that he had tried to make the marriage work, added "We both did!" The Queen, on speaking of Diana after her death, commented on the pleasure that she brought to other people with her smile. There are the ONLY COMMENTS of ANY KIND that the Royal Family members, other than Diana's sons, have made. Secondly, Charles' biography, written at a time when the marriage had come unstuck, avoids ANYTHING that you might describe as "tell all". Thirdly, Charles was forced into a difficult position by Diana's talking to the press, and the press illegally recording and revealing the content of a private conversation. Charles attempted to avoid the admission that he had, from 1986 onwards, been in a relationship with Camilla. (This was in 1991 or 92).. The reason that he attempted to be very discrete about this was that both he and Camilla had teenaged children, and Camilla was srill officially married, although her husband had affairs. The direct result of Charles admission was that Andrew Parker Bowles was THEN obliged to take action. He and Camilla divorced, and since "blame" was necessary at that date, Andrew, gentleman that he was, took the blame. This was a formality. Diana? Let us have a look at the MUTUAL recriminations! 1. After the engagement, Charles went on a State visit. This gave Diana five weeks to think about accepting the engagement. She sulked, she pouted. She wept in public, and she complained to the Press that Charles did not answer her phone calls. ....... 2. A couple of days before the wedding, there was one of the three annual Garden Parties at the Palace. Diana was RECORDED telling members of the public that Charles was cross with her that say, because the previous night had been his Stag Party, and she had rung him in the wee small hours, after the Party. ..... Now, a young person who records and keeps contact by mobile, might not find this strange ..... but, a drunken Stag Night is NOT the right time for one's fiancee to ring on the land line at three am, to check the events. Not at that date, and in a dar more formal and conservative lifestyle than 2024. 3. Diana blabbed about a present, cufflinks, phonecalls, friends, "maybe a little bit plump around here", "It's a boy...... and he's got red hair....." etc etc etc etc EVERYTHING that you THINK you know, has come, not from Charles but from Diana. Diana, the poor, poor poor neglected, badly done by, attention seeking VICTIM. The Admissions? Diana evaded them, until AFTER a formal separation was in place.
Oh I thought they were comparing lady Diana's upbringing and pedigree home compared to Camilla's upbringing and home she was raised in. A bit deceived because we know that a king can pay 45 million dollars for a home for his side chick.😮
