I have/had this on VHS. I would tape Liza every time I knew she was going to appear. She did a great show (with the Stepping Out cast) of Sally Jessy Raphael's .
Brings tears of joy to my eyes. I was one of the fortunate ones to play many National tour shows (mostly in Boston and New England). I was very pregnant at the time when I had a 5 week run, and my daughter would wake up exactly at the same loud gun part of the show which made me laugh and want to immediately go to the bathroom and I couldn’t for a LONG time. I believe one of the first tours Brad Oscar was playing Bialystock, and did such an amazing job. Of course we now know every single line and we never failed to sing (well, lipsync in the pit very quietly along every single show of every single run). So we do speak fluent Producers, if anyone needs us 😂. The only other shows that are this memorable to me are Chicago and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. When is the musical coming out? It is absolutely brilliant and needs to be on the big screen. I played it at the North Shore Music Theater (theater in the round that produced a Chorus Line! Take that, theater in the square, where nobody gets a good seat!). I think Charles Shaughnessy would make a brilliant leading man for that role.
Someone should advise her that she no longer can sing….its just terrible. Its all about all involved making $$$$ and exploding her . Surely , she must know that she no longer can sing as she did in the past. ….its sad!
Rosie O'Donnell has disappeared from TV. She was not as great on The View. They got rid of her. She was bossy that why they cut her out. I heard her health isn't doing to well.
This excellent DVD was produced in 2004, not 1990, according to the product data on Amazon. Probably performed in 2003, or a year or two earlier. 1990 was only two years after Linda won the Star Search competition.
Miraculously discovered Linda on the Women of Broadway. She is the best, a master of the art with a beautiful full range voice. Besides that, she's an equestrian!!!
Sad she and Harry were married for only eight years, a kinder timeline would have reunited them earlier. But despite what little time they had as a married couple, they spent it as though nothing changed from the first time they met in junior high, still in love and making each other laugh.
Thoroughly enjoyed this concert by Liza. A great performer who looks as though she enjoys every minute on stage. The soundtrack would make a great new cd, It contains so many songs that have never been released. Thanks for sharing.
We all know That Ryan really Hurt Farrah Badly When She Found him in Bed that Younger Girl 😠😠 But They became Friends For Their Son's Sake 😮😮 Redmond Really Needed Both Parents Support 🥺🥺 I'm not A Fan of Ryan's but he was There For My Girl FARRAH At The End 😥😥 REST WELL ANGEL 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Ryan was a jerk. She was so smart to keep him out of her will. She was beautiful inside and out with a heart of gold. She was a true angel, and now in Heaven. God bless you Farrah, we miss you.
I’ve always been obsessed with the movie, and Gene Wilder. To this day I say it’s the funniest movie ever made.(And I’m MARX BROTHERS freak!!) I love Nathan Lane and I knew this play would be amazing. I didn’t get to see Nathan and Matthew on Broadway. But I’m grateful Mel did the movie, so I have them. The songs were fabulous. Love this documentary.
Barbra is so unique and totally talented. The clip collection was really good. I get emotional thinking about her and all the other incredible talented people who are going to be gone soon but never forgotten ❤. You tube is a wonderful memory keeper!
One of the greatest nights in musical theater history! Those people who packed the Palladium were truly privileged to be witness to this magnificent performer.
The Divine Ms. Streisand should listen and remember the advice she quotes: Mother Theresa said I never listen to the news because I want to know the truth....and...something to the effect that the media reduces the Public to its bases self. Now, then, do ya think the media, clearly Dem-biased, has had anything to do with the BS we've been told about Donald Trump? THINK, Ms Streisand. Did you see the Tom Cruise movie, Minority Report? In it is described what an "orgie of evidence" is, which is: an overabundance of evidence that would prove, beyond doubt, that a perceived felon is guilty, but obviously a set-up.. Continue the thought: 90+ indictments on Trump. NINETY, FOR GOD'S SAKE. There is a darkness covering the sight of the world whereby some very, very bright people have been blinded. I have trouble believing that you're one of the BLIND.
This is great 🤣🥰❤️👍Absolutely made my day! Thank you! I miss having my mom and aunt around. Cooking and preparing the home for the holidays 😭These ladies are so cute and funny and you have a wonderful family ❤️🙏
