In this case , you P matrix will be first 3 columns and Diagonal matrix D will be 1,2,4 as the diagonal entries. Then P DP inverse will give us the matrix A... make sure to maintain the order of eigenvalues and eigenvectors.. I will try to do the calculations once I get free time..

In 2nd , probability that student attend lect on friday is 0.4 . So , can we directly sat that student do not attend the lect on friday is equal to 1 - probability that student is attend lect on friday i.e. 1 - 0.4 = 0.6 ?
Once we r done with finding the limit for inner integral, we go to outer integral. For limits of outer integral, we project the region on that axis. Here we are projecting the upper triangle, which I called R1, onto the y axis, and we can see that when we project upper triangle R1 onto y axis, y will go from 2 to 4.
