🫢 Woah I wasn't expecting that at all!! It's beautiful, it looks like an expensive Tiffany lamp or something... And yes I said Tiffany cause that's literally the only high end lamp brand I could remember!! LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
Seems easy enough to replicate with resin too. Molds to make the tiles should be simple enough to find. Actually, I think some silicone trivets have the perfect pattern(s) in them for this so all you need is resin and pigment, then the glass base and glue. 😁👍🏼
I'ma bi-stitchual and multi-craftual myself. Very nice. They make converters to go on electric screwdrivers or drills for quick spins. I don't have anymore info on that. It's something to look into if you are interested. A umbrella yarn swift is a great companion piece if you have the Hanks or the old fashioned skeins. Enjoy your lovely yarn. 💖💖💖
Oh drill attachments would be so epic! I've seen the recommendations for swifts but usually I'm working from modern skeins so I've never tried to use one.
Yes! Normally I'd shave them after the backing was attached because that helps them lay flat. Since these were particularly curly, I decided to shave after they are assembled as that will stretch them out a bit better.
Potentially, but with the curve of the globe there'd only by a small amount of surface contact so you wouldn't be able to pick up that many pieces at once.
It's actually Arabic from the time they run Anatolia, before Ottoman became Arabic Islamic 😳 liek so many other things we use daily without the knowledge and credit to the Arabic Islamic Empire
