This is coming from a beginner not an expert: not hate to the creator but, this tutorial is very hard to follow I quit before even starting the ”gummy bear”.. I adore cute things like this and i was really hoping it would be easy to follow.. maybe i can come back when i know more but, i don’t recommend this tutorial for absolute beginners like me , again this is coming from a beginner.. but overall this is an amazing pattern it’s just not for beginners! To the creator please make more beginner-friendly tutorials..❤❤
It's national biscuit day here in the UK today, so I've made this and attached it to a square for my daily granny square challenge. We know them as Jammy Dodgers. Thank you for sharing the pattern :)
Hi! I don’t yet have a tutorial for the Neck Pillow, but the pdf pattern is available in my Etsy shop: etsy.me/3XwVoTI It comes in 3 sizes, and each size only uses <1 skein of Bernat Blanket yarn. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi! I just added the Amazon links below the video. You only need a little bit of strong glue and ~1/4” x 1/8” neodymium magnets. Let me know if you have any other questions! ❤🙋🏻♀️
Hi! ❤️🙋🏻♀️ You can technically add this onto any project with sts, but the rectangular background I designed better fits the proportions of this gummy bear. I’ve made 3 free videos (see captions below video for each link), or you can purchase the pdf pattern from my Etsy shop: www.
The written pattern so I can look back at it. R1. Chain 2, 5hd, chain 1 and turn R2. Bobble 6 (7 loops on hook) close with chain, 3hd, bobble 6, chain 1 and turn R3. Hd across row (first and last stitch into back), chain 1 and turn R4. Medium bobble 5 (6 stitches on hook) and close with chain, hd3, medium bobble, chain 1 and turn R5. Same as R3 accept chain 2 and turn R6. Same as R5 R7. (All stitches connect to the back) Puff stitch (4 incomplete hd making 9 loops), chain 1, hd3, puff, chain two, and sew in the end.
Hello, sorry for asking. The heart shape of my cookies are fine but the actual cookies kept turning into an oval shape and i don't quite know what is wrong..help lol😭👍
I really hate that this starts off with a chain 6 and then a double crochet into the back bumps. the chain stitches are not making a rectangle shape and the flipping of my design is making it all warped and tangled, not rectangle shaped. VERY disappointed, i bought all the yarn for this project and it just starts off unnecessarily hard for absolutely no reason lol. starting a granny square is hard enough. does it really need to look that neat and fancy in the middle if the gummy bear is just going to cover it up? seriously, it's a little frivelous and annoying...
You can use any type of yarn, make sure to adjust hook size/ tension to yarn. Also, if it's something you will wash, do a test on a small piece first to make sure fuzz doesn't come off from chenille.
if you are starting this video please keep in mind that she forgets to mark her stitches every single row. Its confusing and it makes the project much more difficult. I have no idea why she wouldn't just re film the video but alas be mindful and begin marking from the first row onwards
Ah, that’s a very old pattern! I’m so sorry it’s confusing, if I have time I’ll make a tutorial soon! In the meantime, you can checkout my tutorial on the strawberry leaf, it’s similar. Have a great weekend! -Lu

Hello, I kindly ask that you please don’t write out my pattern and share publicly here in the comments. You are welcome to jot down notes for yourself, and fast forward or increase playback speed if needed. This is an original pattern designed by me, and the printable pdf is for sale in my Etsy shop. I made three videos for this Gummy Bear Granny Square pattern to share with those who would prefer a free version with ads. Thank you, -Lu
Hi! You can find the links to the other 2 videos in the description below this video. Thank you for the honest feedback! Yeah that music is a bit much, I’m still learning video editing. 😅 Check out my latest video for the Sakura Scarf. I’ve turned up my speaking volume for that one, let me know what you think! bit.ly/3YUiynI_SakuraScarf_byLuluslittleshop
Hi! The full cafe cup pattern is available in my Etsy shop: www.Etsy.com/shop/Luluslittleshop. It’s basically a double layered cylinder with a handle, stuffed with cafe.
Filling rnd 1: Magic circle, ch 2. 12 dc in circle. (12) Sl st to first dc. Filling rnd 2: Ch 2. 2 dc in each st around. (24) Seamless finish off to first dc. Cookie bottom rnd 1: Magic circle, ch 2. 13 dc in circle. (13) Sl st to first dc. Cookie bottom rnd 2: Ch 2. 2 dc in each st around. (26) Seamless finish off to first dc. I’m making a seamless finish video next week.
@@Luisa-kv1yd Ah I see! On RU-vid, you can skip ahead on the parts you don’t want to watch. I marked the 4 corners after Rnd 1 to show it’s a rectangle. Some people gets confused and think it’s a row.
These are so cute! I am obsessed, been making them all night! Love how simple your instructions are. It was very easy for me to follow! Thank you! Is there a way to make these gummy bears bigger? Like 2-4 times bigger?
Hi! If you’d like a sq background, simply use any granny sq pattern you’d like, and crochet on the gummy bear either as an appliqué, or join using the closest loops on the square. bit.ly/3jwqF6k_RU-vid_GummyBear_byLuslittleshop I designed this background to be slightly longer to look best with proportions/ bobbly texture of the gummy bear. Let me know how it goes! Happy making, -Lu
Thank you for the suggestion. ❤️ This video is made for a global audience, and I only speak English, Chinese, and a little bit of French, Spanish, and German. To turn on captions for Italian, simply go to Settings.
So cute! I'm a beginner and I don't know all the terms or anything other than basic granny squares yet. Can you do a video on how to mage the bear separate as an applique?
Hi Susan, To make the bear as a separate appliqué, simply ch 5 for the bottom, then follow the video starting with another ch 2 (turning ch). Use only sts of the bear for each row, you don’t need to join to a background panel. Btw I also have a video for the background if you’re interested: bit.ly/3DWDDmR_RU-vid_GummyBearGrannySquare_backgroundpanel_byLuluslittleshop Let me know if that helps! -Lu
Hi! The Star cookie is a pretty simple pattern once you get the hang of this Heart cookie. I don’t think I’ll have the time to make a tutorial, but you can find the pdf pattern with visual chart in my Etsy shop (15% off sale through end of the year). www.Etsy.com/shop/Luluslittleshop Happy making! -Lu
Hi Mischelle, thank you for letting me know! That seller is no longer selling the magnets, here’s a new link: amzn.to/3EE8ZjL. Btw I’m also using these same magnets in my latest pattern, Finger Friends, free with any Etsy order. Simply send me a screenshot of your order on Etsy! Cheers, -Lu
@@mischellewilson7414 Lol, thank you for saying that! I currently have a 15% off sale on all patterns on Etsy, and I also send out special discount codes for honest reviews. ❤️😉
